As in the average number to get a kill?
Yes they’re the amount of pulls that it took for guilds to get a kill.
This raid has 3 sub 20 max pulls bosses with Rashanan being around max 30 then you jump to Ovinax which is a 109-153 pulls bosses.
For a 9 hour guild you guys are pretty good to be honest but then again to make it work for that short time span guilds often have to be.
Our usual progression path is prog the first 3 bosses, get to the 4th, prog it, fail the dps check or struggle due to healing in week 1 gear.
Then reset comes around, we knock it over having already learnt it, and have a bunch more gear to then go tackle the 5th / 6th boss for the rest of the week.
That’s what we’ve done since I joined in Eternal Palace. This is the first time we’ve ever smacked against a wall like Ovinax week 1, and for two raid nights at that.
Yeah definitely high quality, most guilds I seen with that raiding schedule don’t do nearly as good for you have to have a consistent progression path or things start to get worse and worse by the time you are trying for CE or HOF
Are you guys 3 healing Ovinax? Have a friend in a CE guild who are currently slogging through it.
We’re on ansurek right now. We 3 healed ovinax and 5 healed kyveza.
The point was even guilds like mine don’t usually hit the “RWF” bosses week 1.
Ah, I personally wouldn’t mind bigger raids or they could do a split off raid but big raids always had their own host off issues too.
Man I kind of wish that was reversed. Enjoyed healing Ovinax far more than princess.
I would recommend 4 healing it is much easier that way. The only reason to 3 heal is to push the boss to die early. We basically didn’t do any eggs in the last place the boss goes this week as we 3 heal.
The problem is smaller raids are way harder to tune imo, you can’t make as much mistakes. Moreover another problem of smaller raids is less loot, they don’t make bosses drop more because the raid is smaller so we are getting way less loot than when we had bigger raids.
Ovinax had a very real dps check when we killed it too. On our most recent kill though we skipped the entire 3rd section of the room.
Shows how much of a difference gear / threads buff makes to bosses like this where the hardest part is the end.
Kyveza and ansurek are similar. Hardest part is the last 40~ seconds.
Bloodbound is already a 2 min kill around right now, you might be able to do it without healers and simply burn it.
Seeing the power spike into farming is always a treat. I wish Blizz overhauled the community finders to make finding a good pug or guild easier.
A side enjoyment of mythic raiding was always how many mechanics I could trivialize with SLT.
Thats the thing, what we’re doing on farm for that boss is what guilds progging it at the moment are going to be doing when they’re near a kill. This raid is nerfing itself HARD right now.
Except this was playstyle only a necessity due to a deficiency in game knowledge and skill.
When we ran back TBC and Vanilla dungeons in the classic version of the game people just blasted through everything no CC necessary because the game didn’t actually demand it, people just weren’t very good at the game.
Approximately 200 two hundred people killed mythic ansurek, it is not normal =)
If you think that’s alright, I have nothing to say.
And also, I am not talking about average players here. Average players can keep doing m+2 for all I care.
yea it’s not normal it’s mythic
That number will go up with time and generally go around a thousand guilds.
Not a single element?
Are you sure we had done the same delves? =)
I think you are being delusional or biased as you care for the content, good for you.
Just because the objectives given in delves are not the same as d4’s, that doesn’t mean it hasn’t got the similar structure as d4 dungeons.
Get two stones, put them on the altar, the door opens, you kill the boss.
Sounds awfully similar to me =)
Sorry, I don’t agree with you. After 3 months only 200 players managed to get the last boss sounds not right.
And yes, it is overtuned because of the severing threads buff. Honestly, they can remove that buff and tune the place accordingly.
It’s a bit less than 2 months and guilds are clearing it.
And there’s 63 guilds that have cleared it which is 63x25 so around 1575 people.
Nothing really dramatic to me.
Queen mythic is a 215-334 pulls boss so pretty standard.
Quite sure.
I do not like Delves.
No more similar than any other quest that’s been in WoW since inception; interact with x items, kill x enemies, defend against x waves, etc.
What sounds awfully familiar is nobodies overusing emojis trying to act smart by drawing comparisons that amount to low hanging fruit.
You can draw these comparisons between thousands of games and make the same claims. Delves may as well be derived from Soulstone Survivors, look! They kill pylons and have difficulty levels as well!
