Once you have a level 70 toon, alts should get a permanent 50-100% exp boost. It is desperately needed, especially with the state of dungeon groups of anyone still leveling. Make it easier to make alts.
They have an incentive to keep exp slow to sell boosts & blizz won’t mess with their bottom line $$$
Accelerated timeline.
Joyous Journeys should be a permanent buff in TBC Anniversary beginning with phase 2 or 3 honestly. It’s not that unreasonable of a request. ![]()
Further changing and ruining Classic World of Warcraft and it’s expansions is not a good thing for The Real Classic Playerbase, nor is it an excuse to continue to make additional changes and mistakes.
Not adjusting stuff for the accelerated timeline is a mistake.
Oh boy, I’ll never make it to 70, then as I hate XP buffs.
Why don’t you ask for something like gear/trinkets, flags … you can equip to speed you on, why ask for something hitting all of us?
It’s not, but it affects their bottom dollar via selling boosts. 58 to 70 isn’t a bad stretch to get through without JJ even if some still dread it.
This is why I have always advocated that shop features are anti consumer. Create (or don’t solve) the problem and sell the solution.
Retail leveling is faster, and alts leveling gets faster the more max level characters you have.

It took me 6 days to go from 60-70 on my alt. You can knock it out in one raid lockout.
you played tbc for 40-50 hours over a 6 day period to level your alt. Do you not work 40 hours a week?
Give us joyous journeys. If you want to tie it to having a level 70 on that server, that’s fine to.
yeah like 6 hours a day after work then around 20 over the weekend.
You don’t “need” anything. Play the game, or don’t. Why should accommodations be made for people who don’t want to play the game?
Theres no reason to play alts in TBC, games just not good enough
No need, you can buy as many boosts as you like.
It only goes up to 25% xp buffs though, which annoys me. If I have 20 lv 90s, my next alt should go from 1 to 90 instantly dammit!
I wish I could but it’s against my personal goals of not giving blizz more money than minimum. So you see my conundrum.
I want to play TBC. I have to play Vanilla for 60 levels. I don’t want to play vanilla anymore, I already did that…
Then don’t.
Better yet for 200 bucks, let blizzard allow you to purchase insta 70s
