It was no secret old Shadow Bolt needed an update, but it was one of my favorite spell animations in the entire game. The spooky sound, the little skull with gnashing jaws, the trail of green and purple. It felt like it had a weight to it when cast and when it impacted the enemy.
New Shadow Bolt isn’t a bolt at all. It feels and looks weak. The skull is gone and instead it just looks like a weird puff of gas. I want an actual updated Shadow Bolt with a skull and the old sound back! 
Cosmetic Glyphs in general really need to make a massive resurgence, there’s so much potential for every class.
I personally think shadow bolt should look like the Death Bolt, casted by the worms in Underrot, it’s an updated skull shadow bolt we use to have, looks amazing.
Never understood why we didn’t get that spell visual.
I liked breaking shadowolts into 3 smaller ones because 3 chances to crit.
I do however believe that major glyphs need to come back. I meqn we had good glyphs for demonology like dark apotheosis and imp swarm which is far stronger than the current trash hand of guldan
