Honestly yeah, one handed ranged weapons would be fun, both pistols and hand crossbows. It’s also what I’d prefer Survival Hunters to use. Melee survival borrows so much from BM as it is that we might as well make BM the melee spec (dual weilding hatchets ala Rexxar), keep MM as the long range sniper spec, and turn Survival into a mobile mid-range tool slinging spec, weilding dual hand crossbows and equipped with tools such as bolas and grenades and such. Something similar to the D3 Demon Hunter but with more of a warcraft spin.
Races are fun and we’ve never gotten a new ranged class since the game was made, so I’d prefer them to focus on that.
That one would be censored faster than topics from some ppl here are flagged and removed.

new ranged weapon: The care bear stare. Changes anything offensive to none offensive content: It can also be used as a cooking fire!
Making races playable now is the fastest way to crap in their lore and end their awe.
Players like combinations and abilities for no reason and dumb backgrounds, so they make up horrendous stuff to justify their playability.
I am happy the most interesting lore to me are Orc’s, which is barely holding out the crap of playability as it is.
If they make Arakoa, Sethrak or any other race playable, i fear the crap made up to accomodate it.
They should have retooled thrown weapons into a proper range slot weapon.
