When someone claim Saurfang had a mak’gora with Malfurion as a proof, yes, the credibility is non-existant
Literally how it went on Darkshore. So yeah, if you can’t show proof of your own side of things, you ACTUALLY have zero credibility. Sit down and learn to read the official lore like Sendryn did. Because their information comes from official sources. Yours comes straight from the toilet. Your argument has now boiled down to ‘trust me bro’.
by stating that saurfang and malfurion had a mak’gora this implies two things
1- you have no idea what mak’gora means
2- you’re lying because there wasn’t even one
It’s so comical that it’s painful to debate when there isn’t even a premise
Would you enlighten us?
Citing sources, what does “mak’gora” mean?
“I need my feelings to be validated by people that think like me instead of facts when a video has a lot more to do with it than just the character(s) that happen to be in it”
You are seriously upset by this whole thing, and obviously have thought about it a lot. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen you post about this before. You must feel personally attacked. Not everyone is going to like you or the things you like.
Mak’gora means duel of honor, a ritualistic duel.
It’s not something that can be practiced against anyone, especially when the opponent doesn’t even know what it is.
There weren’t hundreds of “mak’goras” in the middle of the war just because someone thought it would be an honorable fight.
A fight in the middle of a war automatically nullifies the meaning of mak’gora, which is something that requires preparation.
The fact that saurfang REQUESTED a mak’gora is already a stupid thing that some beginning writer decided to do.
Malfurion, despite being intelligent and probably understanding what a mak’gora is, did not accept him at ANY point, he simply beat him.
The fact that recently there is an excuse that each place’s mak’gora rules are “different” is just an excuse for bad writers to do free-style duels.
No mak’gora has been based on magic to date and there never will be. Blizzard doesn’t have the courage to have a duel of mages in mak’gora because that would be like burying any vestige of sanity that ever existed in Warcraft.
In fact, this proves my point, because knowing that he wouldn’t have the slightest chance against Malfurion, Saurfang requested a Mak’gora that, on premise, there would be conditions, otherwise he would just fight without the need to request it.
Can you give me your canon source on the definition of mak’gora?
I dont want your personal definition.
“recently” = been around for nearly a decade?
Once again. Bloodsworn.
Yes, you do.
Varok Saurfang challenged Malfurion Stormrage to mak’gora to buy time during the Horde’s attack on Astranaar. Malfurion rushed at Saurfang and attacked him with no care.
Source: A Good War
We can start here.
No, I do not want your personal definition. I want the canon definition. (this is a trick question btw)
So in “A Good War” it outlines all of the rules for Mak’gora, specifically saying that magic is cheating in 100% of them all?
Yes you do, you ask with a “?” which means the sentence is over.
I was refuting this
…what?
I dont care.
I asked this.
This is not “give me your personal impression on what it means to you”. It means…using sources, can you define what constitutes a mak’gore?
I’ve already answered this.
You want official sources?
The Shattering, Hellscream, Blood and Thunder, good read
And in those books, it says 100% of a time, a mak’gora can never have magic at any point?
Also. Just read the part concerning it in Hellscream. It barely touches on any formalities at all.
It shows what will always be shown, real fighters having real fights.
There will never be a mak’gora based on magic, rest assured.
Blizzard writers are spineless and doesn’t have the courage to bury the lore
So there is no rule against magic?
Bloodsworn. Once again. Despite you wanting to dismiss it, it exists. It has a challenge of mak’gora. Magic is used.
random MMA-free-for-all garbage
I dont care your opinion on it. What matters is that its official and canon.
You’re acting obtuse for what reason exactly? Or are you honestly this bad at knowing the lore?
Saurfang challenged Malfurion to a mak’gora, but Malfurion did not care about orcish duels and simply tried to ensnare Saurfang. Malfurion eventually overwhelmed Saurfang and used roots to bind his legs. Trapped in a collapsing inn, Saurfang admitted to himself that there was nothing he could do against Malfurion’s power. But as the inn began to collapse around them, Sylvanas Windrunner fired an arrow of dark magic at Malfurion, distracting him from Saurfang. Sylvanas had rallied the Horde to route the night elf defenders and forced Malfurion to retreat with them. Although he last saw Saurfang being buried by collapsing rubble, Saurfang’s appearance at Zoram’gar revealed he had survived the ambush.[48]
Cry more, Garrosh is gone for good. Hope the Horde’s leadership is full of elven mages and rogues in the future just to spite this unga mentality.
I mean, they completely refuted everything you claimed, and your response was “LUL NO U DUM”.
Go crawl back in your hole.
