No its ok. we got a 5% buff inc so everything is fixed def no reason to address the hundreds (thousands?) of people begging for a response across these threads.
Storm elemental is a required talent for M+ and is still going to feel really bad. Yikes.

Net damage: still lower combined with the “accessibility” nerf.
Still no comment on what was described as an purely accessibility based change killing any fun I might have while playing ele until and probably after I get my 4 set.

I was really looking forward to playing something new for a change instead of the same build since the start of BFA. Getting to actually spec into Unlimited Power and gearing for Mastery was going to be a fresh way to play my Ele Shaman. Too bad, so sad I guess.
I think a simple Buff would would to increase all Nature Damage the Shaman does while Storm Ele is active. That wouldn’t impact the Lava Burst part of the Tier Bonus and would fit in nicely with how we play in M+. It wouldn’t be as fun as the proposed “Machine Gun” build but at least it would offset the nerfs to an extent.
Still upset about this. Nerfing without compensating the other abilities to even things out just feels spiteful and like the devs are giving a big middle finger to shaman players who don’t go resto or play whatever class is Blizzard’s new pet project.
I feel like based on what I heard metzen loving shamans. Feels like they been shafted through everything now that he’s gone imo. It’s like blizzard has forgotten about them i guess
Shamans finally get the buff everyone been crying for today after small balance patch. More Lava Burst dmg, perm pet and lightning bolt was removed to compensate for instant lava bursts while moving.

Believe me, I’m trying. Can’t get a second weapon to drop to save my soul, I need to buy another legendary for enhance and I’m more or less broke right now, and I’m having crap luck with tier and trinkets dropping.
I feel your pain. That’s not quite what I meant by that comment, though. Enhancement has been subjected to the treatment Elemental got multiple times over the years. Elemental has been knocked around, as well, but never as severe as this one. Shaman has been a punching bag in every expansion, though. We only truly thrived in classic, where we had a clearly defined support role. Once they did away with the support role… they never really figured out what to do with us.

Ele is looking more than OK to me, above all the pure caster DPS specs except demo.

No-one that isn’t an elemental shaman asked for Elemental Sham’s to be nerfed, that’s the point of the OP’s Title, Not a damn soul asked for this.
