Nobody is stopping you from having the wedding of your dreams in WoW. There’s this thing called ROLE PLAY.
There’s plenty of locations. All you need is the people to do so. Nothing is stopping you.
Why do you need something from blizzard to make a wedding? You don’t.

Project 2025 will ban all WoW weddings.

I like it in FFXIV where it just involves a cute little ceremony and you get a ring that lets you teleport to each other.

I mean, not opposed. If they’re doing stuff like Housing it’s not really farfetched anymore IMO.
That said, it needs to be a vanity thing. No rewards. No mount. No gear. If there’s transmog, nothing beyond wedding attire*. No combat buffs. Maybe the ability to teleport to your spouse on a CD - RAF already had that functionality anyway.
The Siren’s Isle ring has a graphic, so maybe do a Wedding Ring thing, and if you’re wearing it or transmogged to it (might as well add that in if they keep doing fancy rings) you have a buff the displays your spouses name or something. Since players can’t voluntarily do the last name thing like they can in FFXIV, at least not outside of TRP3 which they already do (and titles as a replacement are a bit too unwieldy for this IMO).
* I’d say wedding attire shouldn’t be moggable, but it’s hard to argue that when we literally already have tuxedos and wedding dresses that are moggable - they’re just old and ugly.

just give it a buff like the trial of style shirt when you equip it, have a ring mod slot for the wedding ring, and the buff is just “married to x” dont even need to have anything else associated with it like the teleport to spouse thing.
