So what about the Marines that fly F-18s off aircraft carriers and F-35bs off Amphibious Assualt ships? What about NASA where they launch rockets into space.
Compare for a minute the government run Saturn V that took astronauts to the moon and Star Ship, the private rocket about the same size.
The Saturn V had two unmanned tests. The third, Apollo 8 took astronauts into orbit around the moon. Apollos 9 and 10 were test flights of the Lunar Lander then Apollo 11, the 6th flight, landed Armstrong and Aldrin on the moon. Then there is SLS, the Space Launch System, that flew once, got Orion to Lunar orbit and returned safely.
On the flip side, Star Ship has launched 11 times and they haven’t even been able to get into orbit much less return and land safely.
