Objective Based honor compared to prenerf 2.5 is roughly a factor of 2.5x on battleground weekends and a factor of 5x regularly using the 140/272 WSG vs 700 WSG as an example.

Post 1.8 CP+ numbers divided by 10 was your prepatch HK number.

The 3 digit number was the original vanilla value for an HK, the number in parathesis is the amount you got on prepatch.
TLDR - We are receiving honor changes from some patches and not receiving honor changes from other patches, this is creating a situation where we have none of the honor income rewards from any of them. We don’t have the Ranking system HK rewards that were in 2.0.1 and Season 1 and we don’t get the concerted efforts quest for turnin because we aren’t 61-70.
I personally love the lowered honor scale. Gives me a sense of accomplishment that I don’t ever receive in my personal life
I don’t blame the op, blizzard should have known better and tried slowly reducing it if they felt it was an issue rather than a knee-jerk answer that clearly was over the top.

dang came to farm pvp for pre patch but guess thats dead now
1500 honor gained 38,000 left to get! not bad for an 8hour day, It’s not so bad. /s
how have blizzard not came out and said a single thing about this yet is beyond me

I feel let down. Like actually let down. I’m probably way too invested in this game. I re rolled faction with some friends about 5 weeks ago. I hit 60, got my professions maxed and did a couple mcs, zgs for some gear until pre patch came out. I was planning on farming 5 pieces of honor gear.
I had the intention to do this for weeks before pre patch. Verified costs of items and honor gains on the PTR. Made myself a little list of what marks I needed and how much honor, had a little gear planner with a reasonable set up for leveling in outland. Now all of that went to sh**. Totally wasted my time and energy trying to hype myself up for pre patch and TBC.
Yea I’m too invested in the game. So much so that this Hotfix* actually made me frustrated IRL. Sorry for being passionate about your game blizz. Kinda wish you shared that passion.

I’m getting 100 honor per AV if I win 50%… only 2000 AVs for a weapon…
