this bugged for us too.
he had to keep logging off to make Pagsly move and missed out on the bountiful chest at the end of the delve.

if its a bountiful one just quit it and go to another one if you log out and back in to fix the npc it takes away the bountiful chest

Yep, my friends got the bountiful chest, but I didn’t. Weird bug.

I’m having this issue as well. Repeated logout/ins worked. Longest delve ever.

That happened to me tonight! And then that was the end for me. I shut off my computer until tomorrow. I just couldn’t do it anymore. I had that NPC not move so many times, and I couldn’t figure out what to do, but thanks to people here, that logout trick worked. At least I got it done, even if I only got two boring green chests!

I did this late last night. Thankfully this post told me how to at least get through it but had to relog at every treasure.

the only problem this causes, is you don’t get the special chest at the end. At least, I didn’t and I had a key.

Almost 1 month later into official launch and this is still broken. Blizzard is terrible

I’m glad its bountiful too, to make grinding gear even more impossible since the chance of this bug happening seems over 50%. I’ve only been able to get through this delve once without this bug happening.

Waxface makes it horrible to begin with.

This is still bugged, sometimes he just gets stuck and other times he just stands there and does nothing

DO NOT LOG OUT! Logging out does not fix the bug and you lose your chest at the end. The only way to fix the bug is to clear the entire room where it happens. Better yet never do this bugged delve!

Necroing to report that this is STILL happening and isn’t fixed.

Glad they put dev time into a new year sub mount instead of fixing these bugs.

2 months later and they still haven’t bothered to fix it. Lift your game Blizz!

We had this happen tonight as well. We noticed that Pagsly got stuck between two of the waves. It seems the 2nd wave came in from further away in the room and got captured by the “blue” empowerment effect. When we targeted them across the room, they left the empowerment effect and we were able to complete the 2nd wave and then Pagsly was able to move again.
Not sure if this is what’s causing all the problems, but it was a real quick fix for us.
