Just love people claiming that they worked “hard” for the water strider mount… I mean, maybe if you have the red one but the blue one? Yea… that’s a no.

If only you were getting a free piece of equipment that allows you use the waterwalking ability like it currently possesses.

I disagree. All the feedback about the portal removal was kept to one thread, literally thousands of posts, and it was ignored.

Bottom line:

The grind stays the same.

The item is now far less useful.

Anything else is just noise and posturing.

To be fair, the points people want to make do get lost and unread in the 956th post on a ever running page where people only read the OP and maybe the last 2 posts before replying.

don’t think that’s true. I can only see that having a character at 100 unlocks the slot. You get one free if u already had the strider, others just have to buy it with gold.

How could i possibly have proof of that? It’s content that’s not even on the PTR yet, let alone on live and out dated. But that would be the perfect way for Blizzard to stealth nerf waterwalking as a whole, by getting rid of the strider with these tools then only reintroducing them after pathfinder hits.

Heck they can even use the excuse of this equipment launching in 8.2, “coinciding with pathfinder 2,” to tie the 2 together.

So you’re currently lying saying stuff like its true to try to win an argument. Gotcha.

But their not removing its ability to waterwalk, their giving the option to enable Waterwalking on every mount in the game, including the Striders. You can still have it waterwalk, since you get 1 for free if you already own the mount.

Plus you can buy the Waterwalking item from the Anglers vendor for cheap if you already did the grind and got the mount.

People are making mountains out of molehills here.
