They are making a zone with a lot of water

When i leveled all my characters through Cataclysm my main did the water world and all other 20 i leveled thru Cata i skipped the water world. I will Never ever do a water world more than once and only on my main. They are horrible i hate them so a new water would will make me play a lot less esp with out water walking.

its absolutely hysterical that they make BFA with so much water and now theyre trying to slow us down with this gold sink crap.
I have 11 characters in BfA.
Assuming I get ONE allowance for ONE character to have WW, that means Im PAYING for 10 others to have EXACTLY what I had just a few days before.

the astounding part is how some in here actually can sit here with straight faces and make up crap excuses for this theft of our time investment.

Yeah this is rough. This hurts the customers that have invested quite a lot the worst.

And those who sit in here bad mouthing those of us who actually play the game dont care because it doesnt affect their 2 characters they play.

they are definitely either doing this on purpose to destroy the game so they can focus on other games instead.
Or they are so incompetent that they actually think these changes of late are good ideas.

That’s something that boggled me too - they make all these water “features” in the expac zones, and then they’re surprised people are using the water mount more than before???

Who is doing the analysis on these things?

Blizzard has been trying to change past content so that it is irrelevant because of their new shiny stuff. This change is just another example of that. It is just the crowd of people that “Blizzard can do no wrong” that is sad.

Before you totally destroy this game, wrecking all of the fantastic work of better game makers who came before you…could you PLEASE somehow make a solo player version of the game?
Id gladly pay $300 for the TOTAL game up to MoP.

See how easy I am to please? You dont have to do the work to include the abominable WoD, Legion and BFA expansions for me to be happy.
Just do not touch MoP.

I have questions I need answered before getting ticked off.

1. Will barding and mount equipment in game now work with the new system?

2. Will there be barding type items in the next expansions?

3. Will I be able to slot these items on my Hati mount?

4. Anything for druid travel form?

5. Are DK tanks going to be limited to no items because as stated now they will benefit from all the perks?

6. Is the mount equipment per mount or does it attach to all mounts on a character?
   Blizz just come out and give us all the info and stop the guessing games.

Here are answers based on what we know:

1. We don’t know yet, but professions will craft the new mount equipment so these are likely to be removed
2. We don’t know yet, but likely mount equipment will be the new system going forward.
3. Yes, sort of. Mount equipment is per character not per mount.
4. No word on this, but hopefully it will.
5. What about other tank capable classes? Shamans? Non-tank DKs? I doubt they will pick and choose which classes get the bonus.
6. See #3, the mount equipment is a per character item, not per mount. You get 1 bonus at a time on your character, active on any mount you use.

T&E’s most recent recap times mentioned (multiple times) that the Mount Equipment slot is ACCOUNT WIDE.

I think I’d actually prefer buying water walking back for the alts that need it over that. sigh

Oh geeze. So that’s even fewer choices and less variety than it seemed originally. If my squishy cloth wearers want the anti daze, then my tanks who don’t need it can’t benefit from water walking instead.

On the other hand, at least the functionality is back to being closer to what we have now. Once enabled once, all my characters can have water walking right away. Wait. So why is the item BoA, then? I feel like I’m missing something.

I guess it’s so that we can swap from perk to perk regardless of what alt we’re on.

They state in the live stream that the equipment slot is on your character. The slot opens to all characters once one of them reaches 100. So that would seem to be that you will need a piece of this equipment per character.

It is stated that they are account bound so I would think that your 100+ has to purchase the item and then mail it to lower alts to use in their slots. I have looked at all the videos on this and none of the info is perfectly clear. By looking at the pieces by image, they look like normal green items, which would be that multiple purchases would be required. As it was also stated, they are thinking that these items will be in the price range of 1k gold or at least hoping them to be.

But I guess we will all see on Tuesday, at least those that will be looking at the PTR things.

Edit: Also, if it is stated that they are BoA then it is odd that the images from the live stream say Soulbound

I watched the video and it does not match what was said in the live stream. Unless he meant that the slot is on the character and is account wide. But then why would they say that the items can be mailed to your alts.

Also, if they are to be made by professions, why would their images say soulbound and not Bind to account.

Actually, at around 10:45, he says specifically that, “the slot, not the equipment in it, is account wide.” So actually that sounds like what we thought originally. The slot is available to any character over level 20, but the items are put into the slot individually for each character.

At this point, I’m honestly not sure which I’d prefer. I really wish they would have gone with, well, almost any other method of adding various abilities to mounts to increase player choice and functionality.

A small clarification to our plans with Mount Equipment–

Hitting level 100 on one character will unlock this system. Once unlocked, the system will be available to all characters, and the equipment pieces themselves will require level 20. If your goal is to have waterwalking while leveling, you can just enable the waterwalking Mount Equipment (there will be one available via Anglers reputation that will be bind-on-account), and it’ll work exactly as before, with the benefit of making all of that character’s mounts walk on water.

Also as a note, if these are made by professions, the cost at launch, at least by what I am thinking, will be very high. With the exception of the one from the Anglers.

Actually, looking more at this, it would seem that the water walking one, the one you get free and then the others from the Angler vendor, are the bind on account ones. I am thinking if you own the mount that is.

Poorly worded in the video then, “The slot is account wide” means something very different to me than “the slot is unlocked account wide”.
