Watching the MDI makes me realize something

I disagree, i couldnt care less about characters and narratives i been playing all this time because i like the gameplay and trying to push challenging content.

But to each their own, at the end is doing what you find fun.

You know what well-adjusted people do when they encounter forms of entertainment they don’t enjoy? Ignore them. You should try it some time.

These past two expansions have literally featured mega-dungeons… I would be surprised if they don’t do something similar this time as well.

I’ve personally never been able to have fun watching other people playing video games.

*Except my college roommate getting scared to death playing OG resident evil. That was hilarious.

I think MDI would be way more entertaining if there was no tournament realm where you can build any character with perfect bis in every slot. You can only compete with a toon you have on your live account. On top of that I think the winner should be determined by who was able to complete the highest key. Both teams start at 15 and push it up until it’s depleted…whoever misses the timer first loses.

M+ is probably the best idea and is the only fun thing they have in this game left. They’ve just done an absolutely TERRIBLE job with this expansion. Whether it’s from lack of class balancing. Seriously why havent hunters mages and boomkins gotten nerfed yet? Incompetency. That’s why. All the bugs and STILL not getting rid of tyrannical.

That’s because all the developer time is getting shoved into it.

The sole purpose of professions has become to produce gear to do elite content. There is no other reason, and it can cost millions to max out a profession to that point.

Honestly…when was the last time people haven’t whined that the top performing classes/specs are unfair?

Would you rather it be something else? I’ve always seen professions as a tool to use in every other content.

What developer time has been shoved into it? What? Do you mean all the bugs in all the dungeons? Or the entire focus being on raid gearing? Or all the class balancing being around raid?

Class balancing has been around M+, ala AoE Capping. Where have you been?

Please name one single class balancing change they’ve made since the release of the expansion that has targetted M+. Go ahead, I dare you.

AoE cap was a terrible decision for no reason that casual players that decided high level m+ers were just mongo cleaving things down in triple pulls without realizing the planning, CC and kick rotations that went into it.

AoE capping. That’s all you need to look at. They literally changed the mechanics of AoE just for M+.

So you’re in denial if you think they didn’t sink most of their developer time into M+.

I don’t mind occasionally checking out arena, though the slower pace in recent seasons hasn’t been great.

MDI i find is more interesting to look at the stats and data after then it is to watch. Wow just isn’t a really interesting game to watch… Final Fantasy is arguably more interesting to watch simply because it’s more glittery.

Ironically, the MDI and M+ is the reason we haven’t seen balance probably. Blizzard just recently came out stating that they don’t like messing with balance or the dungeons when there are competitions coming. So if they balanced for the 99% it would skew the competition. Not agreeing with that concept, but that’s probably why.

That’s not a class balance change. That’s a terrible change they made for no good reason. That’s like saying the GCD changes were to class balance for … raiding I guess? Or pvp? I don’t know but you cannot claim bad, terrible decisions were class balance decisions.

Yea it was. It was a change for M+ because MDI BFA was nothing but blobbing and AoE.
