I quit watching after Tatics cried about payo having a speed buff and then popping that level 58 pet that breaks all stealth.
Entire tourny is a joke from there on out.

ziqo never had a chance against a warlock unfortunately but hes totally the coolest out of them all. I really think they should have done a 2nd and third prize as well. Sonii was dope, sucks for Payo
Yeah, everything else equal, a warlock is going to tear apart a mage. Classic PvP is too heavily rock-paper-scissors oriented. That warlock never went below 60% health the entire fight. It would have been more fun to watch if it was neck and neck.

You’re free to host your own 100,000 dollar tournament, and have those rules for the qualifiers.

Obviously people with help had an advantage and it wasnt “fair,” but that is what you signed up for going into it.
Would have been cool if they spun up a tournament server for the event so that everything was more equal.
Congrats Snutz. Multiple wins at tourneys just shows this streamer is the best. Streamers rock btw. 
This has nothing to do with me hosting the tourny as I was advertised mak gora, and it wasn’t a mak gora. It was a best of 3 or something silly to mak gora.
I watched the ‘finals’.
I believe if they didn’t do qualifiers, and actually mak gora’d, the Finals would have been much different. Then you’d get people complaining how someone should or should not be there, because they won their mak goras…
And, how could they do qualifiers, if it’s top points goes to finals?
This is true. But, the point system makes it as fair as it can be. As you may go up against something that counters you in the qualifiers, but not the finals. The finals were actual duels to the death, so it’s fine. Host your own tournament, if you want your rules.
But this is exactly what happened in the finals. A warlock is a pretty hard counter to a mage.
Looked like warlock was a pretty hard counter to every class.
