Enough for them to jump on a main and prove they have BDS.

  1. not fighting within the tank’s mass taunt range
  2. requiring a disproportionate amount of healing
  3. attacking a target before the tank has acquired aggro to start with
  4. pet misbehavior (all Hunter and some Shaman and Warlock pets have Taunt equivalents)
  5. not moderating attacks when kiting is required (attacking the tail end of the line instead of the target closest to the tank)

Did that cover most of it?

…

Oh, I wasn’t looking for a payout. I just wanted to make sure I got most of it. There might have been more.

When I tank, I usually announce the following rule:

Keeps the game interesting, and promotes a lot of creativity.

There are some incredibly talented DPS out there, particularly when you give them the chance to “let loose”. Lots of CC and other abilities tend to be used more often too.

That’s my personal experience anyway.

In my regular M+ group I have a rule like that.

You pull it, you INTERRUPT it (at first), so it’ll join the pack when you run them towards me.

I can’t interrupt at range, love lots of mobs in a fight, and don’t mind DPS pulling responsibly.

To me, managing their own pulls to the point of delivering them to me (or making it possible for me to Taunt them to myself) is all that’s really needed.

I tried that…once. lol.
DPS died because healer couldnt handle all the incoming damage.
Healer gave me enough attitude for doing it that I didnt do it again.
TEAM effort. That one player is still on my team.

Hear me out…

I agree it’s irritating and annoying. However, what if you tried to synergize with that DPS? If you can actually handle it, speeds up the dungeon and everyone is done quicker. You also get to showcase your ability to tank.

I don’t judge people who don’t have the same computer specs as I do, I just wait to make sure everyone is in the instance and ready.

I wouldn’t expect you to understand, nor respect that for your fellow players.

Anything can happen to anyone, at any point in time. I’ve personally known of party members with sudden family issues (trivial or bad), sudden health issues, falls, computer issues, etc. I’ve read of players having heart attacks, choking, blackouts, etc.

There are a million reasons to wait a few damn seconds to make sure everyone is ready. Again, I don’t expect you to understand a single one of them. Gotta swing that peen!

No surprise there. You haven’t made a single humble post in this entire thread. Blizzard should design a series of awards around you.

There’s no humility in waiting on peeps to clear trash. Only peeps that like to argue on GD mind. The rest are happy having 2 less packs on the way to the first boss when they zone in.

Impatient and thick. That part had NOTHING to do with an instance. Not one thing.

Dude, I soloed some Mythic 0 last night. There’s no point in waiting for the group. Less trash, more fun for everyone. They get to do the dungeon faster, I get to keep busy while they travel and summon.

Everyone one wins but argumentative forum monks. You’re alone in your little world of wanting to slowly fight each pack 1 by 1 in trivial content.

Your reading comprehension is astounding. I tell you that you didn’t read my sentence properly, and you immediately follow-up with:

My sentence had NOTHING to do with what you do in the game. You not only missed the context of it, twice, you double down on bragging about yourself. Reading comprehension, dude.

Your ability to make up scenarios that don’t actually in game is far beyond that.

For sure, none of your scenarios have any actual root in reality. You just spout off to argue.

“Looking for tank, why does nobody want to play tank anymore?”
