So somehow Xal’atath had once been imprisoned by the Old Gods during the Black Empire and also was originally a mortal humanoid - a form that didn’t exist until AFTER the Black Empire when the Titan’s arrived and created it.
Both cannot be true.

Do we have to kill Salhadar a third time? Also Xal’atath was the Silver Surfer but was trying to betray Dimensius on Azeroth by influencing the old gods.
