Agreed…Let Anduin sacrifice himself to save Azeroth in The Last Titan…we got a far more awesome replacement.
Should’ve rolled a Warrior.
They don’t need any mystical powers to swing steel.
Yay, we got a new “punk”

Dont like ANY of the new cinematics. These cinematics are becoming boring like FF14 cutscenes.
They’ve been doing cinematic and character animation releases for a while that we see in game.
I wasn’t spoiled by anything in that, because I have no idea what was going on. lol
So I’m good! ![]()
Of course he is crying lol because why tf wouldn’t he be
His hair is awful.
Other than that this cinematic did look very cool.
I still can’t stand Arator.
I’d cry too if my tattoos started burning my skin. O_O
What is the Intercession cinematic?
He has pre-lich king Arthas Menethil levels of arrogance. I’m halfway interested in where they go with him
So, you want characters that are just emotionless robots? That would eliminate pretty much all the iconic characters of Warcraft.
Just before we reach there. We (along with Tauralyn and friends) are the ones that are poping out of the sunwell when Liadrin calls for help in the cinematic.
If only he didn’t sound like Peter Parker / Spider-Man the whole time. Wish his voice actor would just try throwing some sort of accent in there.
Arthas was a whiny little baby pre-helm. After the helm, he was just an annoying Saturday morning cartoon villian. The fart-death he had was too good for him.
no no, i meant the cartoon animated one
Arthas inspired the likes of George R.R. Martin and has had a profound impact on pop culture.
You cannot have Lord of the Rings without the existence of the Lich King.
Arator spends most of his time in Midnight complaining about his parents and whiny like a teenager so unfortunately we’ve pretty much gone full circle, except this time he feels like a milennial therapy character more than anything else.
The books predate WC3 by over a decade.
You think Tolkien was inspired in 1954 by a 2003 game expansion?
Hah! That’s because his VA is Yuri Lowenthal.
So he is…indeed…Spiderman.
You’re missing the point. Tolkien drew inspiration from names and traditions. Blizzard was already pioneering before collectively being known as…Blizzard.
We’re 7-8 steps ahead of competitors.
I logged back on just to respond to this. Beowulf was inspired by ancient Germanic / Norse legends, then Tolkien was inspired by Beowulf and other Celtic / Germanic / Norse legends, which inspired D&D and Warhammer which HEAVILY inspired Blizzard’s Warcraft games.
