I didn’t get to play TWW much due to life going to hell for a few years. Things still aren’t great but I can play more. This made Midnight a bit more exciting for me. Makes me want to see what’s next more than my scattered experience in TWW. Hope it’s good!

I still don’t find her a big bad villain like I did Garrosh or Sylvannas. I am also going to be very upset if we dont see someone eat something. Like Xal eat a Naaru. We got the power of Galakrond with his legendary hunger and Dimensious the all devouring all wrapped up in one. I want some Diablo-esque story lines here. Finally, what was up with the last 20 or so seconds of nothing. Did I miss something there?

The writers think they’re writing Orin the Red mixed with The Emperor from Baldur’s Gate 3, but what they’re actually writing is a Saturday morning cartoon villain who twirls a mustache.
Reminder that Metzen hasn’t done squat and that he’s only here to give people false hope.

If his [Metzen] interview was to be believed, he doesn’t have the ‘control’ over creative decisions that he’d have in the past. So he said they have to kinda vote on ideas… from the looks of it though, I’m starting to agree that he was brought back as a PR stunt more so than his leadership.

So, should we be expecting more backstory in Xal’atath and her/it’s goals for the world soul or is “she’s very old and she really want’s it” all we should expect to get out of her? Just trying to calibrate how attentive I should be to any tidbits laying around.

after just doing the prelude quest, im really depressed we’re leavin my queen ve’nari behind. she’s like the last 10% im invested in the game 
Venari was a good character honestly probably one of the last well written ones. I’m guessing she is gone? I haven’t did any of the prelude quests, did they kill her?
Problem is the character has potential, but they keep constantly making the same mistakes they have made with villains since BFA. Giving too little info, leaving the players in the dark for the villains “master plan”, and constantly making players feel like they arent caught up with what they need to. They need to slow the story down and actually WORK for the emotional beats they want to make instead of just fast and furious slamming the pedal down for maximum dopamine 24/7 for the tik tok gen
