What about this week guys n gals?

I got a pretty meh vault, 278 non tier headpiece.

It’s alright tho I guess, I’ll turn it into tier when we can

Starting to fall behind, only 1 piece tier rn

Looking like I’m going to have to jump in the raid at some point :weary:

Not this week friends…thankfully the resto druid tier doesn’t matter very much in M+

I did get a direct upgrade to my bracers, and there’s leech on’em so gg again :revolving_hearts:

278 tier legs last week.

272 tier shoulders this week, and 2sets on both my Paladin and my Hunter.

I can’t complain tbh.

I got 2 raid slots, 3 m+ :

  1. ring I already had (this one was upgraded, but why would I take it when i can just upgrade the one I have? xD ) - 272?
  2. A belt - 252
  3. A belt - 272 (ended up picking this one for when I make 291 unity and belt slot is freed up)
  4. Something that would’ve conflicted with tier, can’t recall which slot. - 268 I think.
  5. A trinket that wasn’t terrible, but compared to my other option it just wasn’t worth it - 252.

How are we looking team?

I had 3 slots at 278,

I took the anima charged winds trinket or w/e it’s called, it’s not meh but it’s meh all the same.

Still only 1 piece of tier

Might have to begrudgingly try some heroic raids zzz

yes, I got 278 tier helm on my druid.

it wasn’t so great for my hunter, I got gloves I won’t use now, but I can dump them in the creation catalyst next week to turn into 278 tier.

Nope. Just constantly getting rings and the exact same chest piece on my Priest and Shaman.

At this point on priest where for a few weeks now it’s just been hoping for good RNG and waiting for the weekly Valour caps to be able to upgrade anything. But vault is consistently bad. They should have released creation catalyst weeks ago - at least it’d feel like you could make a bit of progress each week.

The disparity between having tier and not having it is crazy and it’s an artificial gateway to pug content. Being unlucky with regards to vault tier is honestly such an awful and off-putting feeling - especially when everyone around you is linking tier every week out of their vault.

People like to say the vault is “free loot” but at the end of the day you put in the effort to max it out (generally with content that is no longer rewarding in terms of gear progression) and it becomes your only source of upgrades - so why there isn’t some kind of deterministic component to it I’ll never understand. Just bring out an m+ vendor with 278s, have vault drop a currency. Let people buy a piece every 3-4 weeks to fill in gaps.

None of my six level 60s do any of the GV activities. One less system to be frustrated over

2 278 necks and 1 278 ring from the m+ slots.

Architect’s Ingenuity Core, a belt that would have replaced my Legendary slot, and Grim Eclipse, which I already have, from the raid slots.

I’m simmering with rage right now. I just wanted one piece of tier.

vault trolled me but it was fine with the catalyst thing. thank god.
