Well atleast in tw even having your computer monitor on is pretty much optional which is why idk why they would waste the time kicking you.

Maybe start hitting some buttons.
are you there to play the game (which hint: doesnât only involve healing) or are you there to afk while others play the game for you?
I think the whole âI only healâ mindset is so dumb. what in the world do you do when there is no healing needed, and why in the world do you think youâre so precious you shouldnât be contributing to the dungeon?

it started in legion with cat-weaving. no it wasnât a thing in vanilla because any mana user doing anything outside their rols would run out of mana
How times have changed.
I remember the very first timewalking dungeon I ran waaaay back when the system was introduced.
Everyone barged ahead because it was content from 2-3 expansions ago and would be face-roll easy.
It was⊠for the NPCs
Tank HP went down fast, heals couldnât keep up, DPS were not doing great damage.
The groups got ugly because folks were frustrated that it wasnât as easy as they thought it would be.
This was before everyone figured out you could cheese the scaling by using old gear from that expansion.
I avoided TW for the most part afterwards.
Skip to the present and apparently afking is the preferred way to do TW dungeons.

Not a lot of context in the OPâs post.
Was it 3 or 4 guildies/friends having a laugh at your expense and kicking you because they could?
Did you try to debate healers doing dps verses no dps with the group and they kicked you just to end the conversation?
If you are going to do TW, there will be those groups that kick for one reason or another.
In a timewalking dungeon? Heals have never and still never have to dps. You were removed by a handful of goons.
How would this ever be an excuse?

Not once have I ever been kicked for not doing DPS as a healer. Not once. And I literally put people on follow and use instant spells like 70% of the time.
Really funny story. I ran about six timewalkers last night, and had every group style from âtank locks out half the group from the first boss roomâ to âone person died and three people tried to apologizeâ. Iâve never had such diversity in experiences.

Iâm not saying I donât believe you⊠buuuuuut, Iâve never seen someone get kicked unless they are being rude or straight up AFK. Odd.

I joined as tank but they kicked me for another dps.
Call me a victim blamer if you will, but Iâm going to have to blame you for not voting to kick a DPS for not healing first. You kinda let it happen.

Iâm going to doubt thatâs the entire story here, and suggest that you were doing or saying something that the rest of the group didnât like.
But the group is allowed to remove anyone for any reason.

I believe it. People are just weird.
Itâs been a long while since it happened but I was removed as a tank from the dungeon in Legion TW with the sentries and towers where you have to disable outposts.
We were approaching the first boss and had two more towers to disable. I said in chat that I was going to disable the left one and rogue was getting the front.
Hunter barrages everything and next second Iâm removed. Iâm guessing it was a misclick and they meant to remove the hunter.
Meh Iâm a tank and after the debuff I had no issues completing the rest, but that gave me pause.
