Honestly, the styles and forms are so similar and overlap so much it’s a perfectly normal association to make. I mean, before SL, if someone asked you, “what’s blue and has a holy robot motif?” the answer is going to be the Draenei.
That Blizzard opted to leverage this similarity… eh.
Uther was “ascended” before he was even officially named an aspirant. He was still in his “recent arrival” form. So Uther keeping his form was most likely a result of that.
