This has been a thing to some extent or another since vanilla, with Elwynn bears and wolves that take it oddly personally when you mine ore.

Feels like it got worse at some point though.

Some of us don’t enjoy having to kill 50+ pointless mobs that drop almost nothing on our way to our objectives.

Which is exactly why I swapped mains to druid this time…stealth…and precisely my point that stealthiness is something that ALL classes should be able to have, like ESO…instead of this crap of two classes having it as abilities.

To be fair, they did that in New Vegas too, but it was optional.
