Oh don’t get me wrong, I am under no illusions that the Horde is a match for the Alliance. Blizz would actually have to invest in building up the faction for that to have a chance of happening, and they’d be caught dead before ever doing that. Which is why “gimmicks” and “plot convenience” was par for the course when it came to making the Horde the aggressors during BfA. Sure, the Horde wasn’t allowed means or motive, and “opportunity” was forced as hell … but we’re the baddies (Plot-Device). The Alliance had/have thousands of grievances that they could act upon; the means to do so; and frankly many opportunities to … but naw. Being aggressive or antagonistic aren’t virtues. They can’t be either.
