It is stupid, but that is seemingly how Blizz operates. They just do not seem to know what to do with Shamans since Metzen left; or the Horde as a whole for that matter. Too many of their devs seem to revel in the WC1-WC2 Images of the Horde (big/burly/savage/dumb … self destructive) … but always use the WC3 vision of it to save it from bouts of their “Fun” with the Old Horde. And since Shamanism absolutely is a product of the WC3 Image … and since Blizz seems like they would prefer to do ANYTHING but build up that Horde … Shamanism itself has really fallen by the wayside too. Its very cause-effect.
