Cataclysm love. not BFA. BFA destro is about as ugly and boring as gameplay can get for a caster. Only thing worse is probably fire mage. (Talking PvP here.)

I like them both, but the only spec on the Death Knights I am not crazy about is unholy.

I like having a small group of undead assistants but it just feels bleh.

Oh yeah i see fire mages everywhere in bgs. I didnt play lock until warlords. Rogue mainly.

Tough question to answer as currently both classes are in desperate need of adjustments.

However, in terms of class fantasy there is nothing more iconic to D&D and Warcraft as a whole than the warrior. The pillar and fundamental role of any party. More importantly, the Warrior Tank, is arguably the most accurate class role. It is the one class that actually feels like a tank, and not a buffed DPS.

In terms of game play, personally I still feel the pacing of the warrior to be much better than the DK. As someone mentioned, in terms of gear and mogs, the Warrior is king and can wear almost everything in-game.

DK’s are in a terrible position right now, but truthfully their game play historically hasn’t been super compelling except for some cool graphic abilities and the chance to let you live the “i want to be arthas” fantasy. For some reason they are still held in high-regard in most areas (raid, pvp, M+) but for their potential AoE, CC and suitability. Truth is a warrior right now can do all those and sometimes outperform.

Last, you get more race options as warrior too. Important to consider. Warrior all the way.

This is how I ended up as a belf paladin in TBC. Belves couldn’t be warriors back then. :frowning:

Also Defensive Stance, so you can throw on a shield when you need it.

Gladiator stance was the greatest warrior flavour ever and they took it away from us :frowning:

I forgot about that! Yes! It just further adds to the appeal. Plus it’s your factions vanilla pvp shield so you get some faction pride too!

I skipped most of WoD, so I didn’t get to experience Gladiator Stance firsthand, but it sounded awesome.

Warriors are More Dominate and Aggressive for PVP, IMHO, PVE/Lore wise I like DKs more.

any end game blood dk are still top for m+,unholy dk are insane for pvp.if you play warrior serious in arena you will be arms.

Warriors can actually move. Charge / heroic leap is every bit as fun as double jump and glide

DK is a VERY close second. Just wish I liked the playstyle of Unholy because I love the theme.
