Warrior Wtf

Furry warrior leveling so far is fun asf. Running around feeling invincible with almost no down time at a low level. Please explain to me how epic high level fury feels.

It feels like the most 5/10

It feels great. With all your buttons you’ve got an engaging and dynamic set of builders and a big meaty spender. It’s a ton of fun and really satisfying to run.

Now, performance? Performance for things like WQ and Island Expeditions is fine. You’ve got good self-heals, no downtime, and a few seconds running between mobs just gives your abilities all a chance to come off cooldown. It’s dungeons and raids where there’s a bit of an issue.

Sustained damage on bosses is a step lower than the top tier spec. Even in good gear with a smooth rotation execution you’ll just have smaller numbers. Cleave damage with Whirlwind also caps out at 5 targets, which is great for challenging content with single trash pack pulls but an issue when you’re trying to multi-pull through easier content.

Is that a reason not to play the spec? Depends what content you’re doing and what the expectations on you are.

No one in this forum is at a high enough level of play where being a warrior will hinder them.

leveling any class is easy but it makes it boring/tedious as well, why do you think so many people decided to exploit those levels last week.

Fury pvp is great with diamond barrier, the sustain is good enough to do 1v2/1v3

Raiding is kinda annoying, apm is too spammy or if you dont get the right proc you choke just under 5 rage and waste time whirlwinding for 4, arms is better gameplay wise but its dps is trash tier atm (even worst pvp) until they fix it (they won’t though)

Opulence, Jadefire, Jaina, Conclaive

Waste time? It’s a filler. You hit your filler when you have nothing else to hit. How is that wasting time.

What?

Conclave? what do you smoke?www .warcraftlogs.com/zone/statistics/21#metric=dps&dataset=95&class=DPS&boss=2268
Also in Opulence , jadefire and jaine, fury is lower tier.

I don’t understand what drives you to do these posts.

Not the bottom three, like almost every other boss.

I’m maining fury atm and love it , I Maine’s arms last patch so fury was a breath of fresh air but we are in a good spot for most content , I have two trinkets that increase my haste to sometimes 90% if I get a lucky proc and I become a wrecking ball we have amazing burst and our cooldowns are on rather short timers , great fun I took engineering to get around easier , the only thing is we bring limited utility to groups if u wanted to do m+ ,

Fury is the only spec where I don’t feel like I’m losing IQ points waiting for CD’s. My main gripe is that Fury and Arms, and to a slightly lesser extent, Prot, seems to take an excessive amount of damage fighting even single trash mobs, and that’s with the procs and buffs. For instance, I nearly died fighting a non-rare hellboar a level lower than me in Hellfire Peninsula and I started the fight with full health. It seemed like every time I hit it, I took damage as well on top of the melee damage it was hitting me with, and I didn’t see it having any sort of buff that reflected damage or had spikes or anything of the sort that I know of, unless Blizz got sneaky and slipped it in…

The only time I’ve seen that in previous xpacs is with my BE frost mage when I was caught off guard. It’s almost hilarious that with a hunter or a lock, I can down the rare monsters in Zuldazar, and even have an outside shot of doing it with my mage, but don’t even have a shot in hell of it with a warrior who, with plate armor, should be getting the greatest damage mitigation IMHO. Hell, I was even able to down that rare Traitor mob (his name escapes me) in Voldun with my holy priest for crying out loud…

neither should have an issue soloing world bosses, much less against a few rando elites. Arms makes sense though.

Ok let me stop you RIGHT here. On opulence, fury warrior is the best class to stack ruby. Of course if you look at logs where the warrior get the slave duty, you wont see them as top dps. Doesn’t make them any less usefull.

I can solo any of the 2million hp mob in the world without going under 98% hp ever.

I know, but for someone complaining about dying to world mobs as fury or prot, it makes sense that they’d have the same trouble as arms.

Battle of Dazar’alor have 9 boss. Do you know?
Also in mythic+ we are completely out of meta.
If you are happy, good for you.

You’ve been “out of meta” for around 16 months now.

How many of those 9 boss are mostly Single target that is meaningful or the execute phase that trump over every other phase of the fight.
I’ll be honest with you, the two worst fight for fury i beleive are conclave and mekkatorque. Anything else we do just fine.

Pretty damn epic. Have a healer in a bg it’s the best feeling in the world. You’re an unstoppable killing machine.

Sort of off topic but fury self healing is so good that it’s pretty hard to die in any situation unless it’s a boss of some sort.

I did my WF last night and I charged in solo for the mini boss at the lumber mill and while it got dicey since I pulled an attack wave I was able to push through it. Just fed off the victory rushes.

I ended up dying though because I pulled a second wave which I wasnt expecting so soon, and had popped all my CDs. But being able to take on a miniboss and a big wave of adds and be like “I think I can pull this off…” felt pretty prime.

Fury is great. Wish we had more burst AoE instead of sustained cleave, and the weird 5 target cap was more of a percentage so we didn’t fall behind in large add pulls, but the spec feels alright.
