Pet vs no-pet should not be a hard decision!
I would recommend hunter
Hunter is more fun in my opinion, you get to choose ranged if you want or a sorta melee ranged hybrid (not the same as the old hunters sadly but close enough) so survival can still get stuck in with the boys in melee and disengage when it gets too hot.
Warrior hasn’t been fun for me in a long time, it just feels sorta…spammy even arms doesn’t feel as solid as it used to and without a good version of second wind it’s very easy to focus down. We can’t decide for you but in my opinion hunter having more dps flavors to choose, taming, ease with soloing elites always seems like the more fun choice.
Flush them both and roll a DK.

go hunter. just had a bg against 5 hunters in one game, they’re so broken and can one shot most classes regardless of gear.

Is surv more fun than arms or Fury?
I love arms and survival both for pvp. Both can fly around like mad jumping on people. Survival has the pet which for me personally was a lot of fun to manage while playing the character itself. Nothing beats the joy of biting chunks out of someones hp bar with arms though.
I also play hyper aggressively if that helps any.

Try both and see which you like in the content style you enjoy . Right now it doesnt take long - I levelled up a foxxy hunter to 30 in around 2.5 hours play. If you can’t tell by that sort of level whether you enjoy it, I don’t know what to suggest.
