I have a question 
If I intend to run any endgame content as a warrior, will I be expected to go tank or will there be spots available to me as a dps role?
warriors are top 2 DPS endgame.
There is no Formal Raid setup.

Fury spec though yes? For Warrior DPS. Or can Arms equal Fury?
Fury PvE, Arms PvP, you can do a hybrid Arms Prot, or Fury Prot with the right gear if you want to tank.
Fury is where a significant portion of our damage output comes from, so even a 2h “arms” warrior is going to delve into fury for some of that(see: improved slam builds). But it goes the other way, too, given that dual wield fury wars are looking for crits and arms has impale. You have choices.
Depends on what your guild wants/needs/requires. Unless you pug.
What people aren’t telling you is that Fury did not become top 2 DPS until much later in classic’s life, like AQ or so. You’re limited as fury early on because you don’t receive crits to consistently enrage, and white damage suffers from hit rating.
