Warmode is garbage because of the AP rewards. No side should get any bonus at all for warmode. No 10% bonus, nothing. The rewards should give the same reward for both warmode & non-warmode.
If people wish to play in warmode, they will. If they don’t, they won’t. Pretty simple.
