You have no evidence and are clearly a troll. Dots suck, period. A priest’s dots do twice as much damage in shorter time. You can advertise your Youtube dumb vids all you want, but you are just trolling. Affliction is broken.
To be fair, this has been the #1 problem with Warlock for the entire life of the class. Warlocks have almost always done insane damage, but they were relegated to longer, hard casts, which really punished them on movement heavy fights. Other than GLORIOUS MoP, where the Kil’jaeden’s Cunning talent allowed you to cast while moving permanently…GODS we were strong back then.
Well I guess they are giving us the easiest fix for warlocks. We can now level up alts easier.
I’ll probably level up an alt and choose a class that can actually compete in pvp. Warlock is borderline unplayable right now

good job, now show me where dots did anything. I don’t care about your turd pvp video ads. No one likes a troll. I can show you plenty of videos where in full shadow gear searing pain outdamages our dots. If in fire gear, searing pain will overcome all the dps from our dots fully.
Dueling means absolutely nothing. Less than nothing. Always has, always will. Show me you going 14-0 in AB with your godlike haunt-affliction skills. You won’t, because you can’t, because after you dot up that warrior and stand around watching him melt like room temperature butter, you’re going to get absolutely deleted by the spriest/druid/mage standing off to the side. Also, “best priest in the game”? Really? You’re pathetic dude. You’re not some super-pro. You’re playing a class that has always excelled in duels, still does, and which means absolute nothing in BGs/group fights.
Warlock is bad right now, there’s no other way of putting it, and you trying to brag about how l337 you are beating the “best gamers in the game!” isn’t doing anything to help your case.
While I do not agree that warlocks are “garbage” in SoD, I do have to acknowledge that bursty metas tend not to support most Warlock builds, so if the DoT damage is low by comparison as is, then they’re obviously going to struggle a little bit.
SL builds IMO though are pretty good, just not necessarily for fun reasons and they definitely still have counters. Shadow priests definitely do their job better (but shadow also does every caster’s job better so I get it).
Also, are you guys enjoying shapeshifting? It’s such a fun mechanic right?

The mana cost is stupid but then again it’s only your problem when you are solo. It’s more of a nuisance for healers than it is for the locks themselves. Locks are amazing in PVP if you are good. And lock is sharing #1 spot in DPS with mages currently. Lock tank is also amazing. For BGs and STV event, we need Wotlk’s res protections for mana
That movement is why meta is the only viable pvp spec right now. The sustain against melee is nice, but the real key is the ability to be mobile and run-and-gun with searing pain spam. It honestly doesn’t matter what tree you pick, if you don’t go with meta you are going to have a bad time.
Haunt-affliction? What’s your plan after you dot up your target? Run around in circles hoping a teammate comes to finish them off? Start hard casting shadowbolts and pray for a nightfall proc? Hard cast fear while that hunter with his eye on you pushes your cast bar into negative numbers?
Chaos bolt? Utter meme spec. Again, what’s your plan after you’ve dropped your load of chaosbolt-immo-conflag, especially if your target is still standing? Start hard casting something else? Yeah, let me know how that goes for you.
Every spec that doesn’t include meta essentially relies on your teammates to carry you to victory. You will never be a play maker, and without your teammates out in front acting as meat shields, you will be instantly deleted.
I don’t need to watch videos of you getting carried by your teammates to know that you’re bad.

Haunt-affliction, and affliction in general is a completely broken and garbage tier spec. Everyone has acknowledged that at this point except for the devs who continue to support their pet classes and no others, and people like yourself who think you’re the special little snowflake that’s going to be the exception to the rule.
You literally posted 2 videos of how awesome Affliction Warlock is against some of the worst players in the game. It doesn’t even look like they even tried to do anything to counter you. You are also playing Horde as an Undead which is easy mode for PvP.

Affliction is trash in PvP and PvE. Warlock in general is trash in PvP now. None of the specs are even remotely good.
Rogue and Priest are hands down the best classes in PvP by a mile. Giving rogue mutilate and gap closers was beyond stupid. They are not weak against a single class when they can ignore armor and stick to targets like glue. I dunno why no one complains about them.
Priests are definitely strong right now. Probably only going to get stronger as the phases come.
I expect warlocks will get weaker, as they continue to force warlocks into this fire mage build.
