Its fine for 1v1 but it does feel kinda bad to do BGs and STV as a Warlock
I hate that in the back of my head I know I would be better off going meta and spamming instant cast searing pains like a moron.
I don’t think the problem is Warlocks TBH I just think everyone else is too OP. If you buffed Warlock then its just another Spriest which is cancer for everyone else.

I don’t say I enjoyed it. I enjoy classic destruction a bit better. Or even tbc sl/sl. I’m saying its very effective.
Also you wouldn’t run incinerate due to the difficulty of getting hardcasts off. Just demonic grace and spam sp

That is 100% false. Also fighting a warlock then end most fights over 80% health.
Warlock is the only caster class which isn’t completely busted in pvp, yet performs well in pve. Meta is exceptionally strong against physical dps without any downsides, but at least it isn’t a 2 global death to their opponent. The other casters have absurd levels of burst that are not being addressed at all.
Meta loses to paladins and rogues. Sometimes warriors. Warriors are also in a bad place.
Literally do anything to dispell drain life and meta just falls over. Even with drain life, its pretty easy for any class in the game to kill a warlock, they have zero defensives.

My approach since hitting 40 has been full demo. But I end up saccing my VW for a HP regen, which allows me to comfortablly solo stuff but the extra talents past it feel wasted, so maybe a respec is in order…
i for one miss warlock dominance and hope blizzard brings it back because its fun for everyone involved
Right? Wow just doesn’t feel right when warlocks are weak and pathetic.
The food chain is all out of wack! Rogues running rampant, they’re supposed to tremble in fear at the mere sight of a warlock.
Mages too, just running around allowed to exist. The ugly step cousin of the caster class. And warlocks can’t shut them down anymore.
And most important of all. Shadow priests. Warlocks equipped with shadow wards, purge and silence. A shadow priests worst nightmare… And now warlocks are just a light snack for the fotm trash players clinging to priests.
Warlocks being weak ruins the entire balance of the game.

Affliction was hosed in phase 2. It feels bad. I am a dotter as well. I still tank full affliction. I still pvp full affliction. I love shadow/life drain. But, not one single rune is affliction/meta friendly. The searing pain from meta should be shadowflame. And a priests dots are more powerful than a warlock. Feels bad.

How strong is DS in this regard? If you sac for the hp you have talente id imagine to throw back into Afflic or Dest?
I reckon Warlocks could use a buff. As a Shadow Priest, they are extremely easy to kill if you keep up with your dispelling.
I like PvP to be a challenge so I am in favor of buffing struggling classes so they can compete evenly against me.

A controlled duel with limited play space is not the same as general pvp.
Yes warlocks are still good in a 1v1 duel where there are no X factors and you get a countdown for when the fight begins.

The boosted health you get from these “pvp” scenario will let you survive a rogues whole rotation
