Warlocks are the worst class

What I mean is in his video he makes it clear that the spec nerf was for concern for a class.

Aka there wouldn’t be a situation he’d say it about a class as a whole. That would hurt the game.

I at least agree with this. The current spell animations look like the warlock is shooting streaks of colored ink at the target.

Yep always funny, summoning people at the bottom of a large body of water and watching them frantically swim upwards. Meanwhile we’re sitting there laughing our butts off as unlike them we got under water breathing. I think we’re the only class that still has a spell for that too lol. Undead don’t got perfect under water breathing…they still drown just takes longers

I don’t know, if he’s willing to run a spec into the ground to force the players onto another spec, i don’t think it’s unfathomable to think that he’s willing to do the same thing to an entire class, or even some other aspect of the game for that matter. If “lets ruin X to make them do Y” is within his playbook, who knows what else he’s willing to apply that logic to :woman_shrugging:

Well you have played the game for a lot longer than I have and have many achievements to your name. You’ve seen the game change significantly.

I will take your word for it.

Corrected that for you.

What’s with the we, grasshopper?

You need to check out Rextroy. He will teach you the mighty power of the Warlock.

I seem to recall my forsaken being able to stay underwater without the bar going down but meh that was awhile ago.

Okay I double checked. Here

Touch of the Grave
Attacks and damaging spells have a chance to drain the target, dealing Shadow damage and healing for the same amount. Additionally, you can breathe underwater indefinitely.

The underwater breathing thing got fused into Touch of the Grave after patch 5.0.4

No, warlocks shouldn’t be appropriating a hunter’s ability to tame. Warlocks already have their own distinct ability to summon.

Having faction/race/class distinctions adds complexity, variety and flavor to the game.

Stop trying to homogenize the classes. Want to tame, create a hunter.

Nah I like my idea better, we’ll go with that

We don’t tame, we enslave, and there’s nothing wrong with the idea of us enslaving different demons, we can already do this with dozens of different demons out in the world, i don’t think it would be a big deal to slot any potential enslavable demons into one of the category of demons that we can currently summon and normalize their damage.

If you had been using the same pets for this many years, you’d want some variety too.

My hunter tames :woman_shrugging:.

Well, if you can already enslave dozens of different demons out in the world why are you asking for more. (And when did that start 'cause I am in Legion and still only have my original four available.)

My warlock is not giving up her ‘doggo’ and my hunter has tried all sorts of pets but always ends up with her original tiger.

Not everyone needs variety for variety’s sake or change for change’s sake.

However, I do not have a problem with warlocks having more demons available to them. What I have a problem with is copying the hunter system for the warlocks.

That’s because they knew they had to replace the imitation DH spec when real DHs came out. Not everyone loves the army commander spec they replaced it with, although I personally think it’s pretty cool, but leaving it alone was never really going to be an option.

I don’t have a problem with Warlock animations, they kind of are the supervillains of Azeroth (even when they’re on the good side it’s in a Megamind or Monsters vs. Aliens kind of way) so being a little cheesy is OK.

i like both the old and new animations and spell-effects.
but… i DO miss the old version of wild imps… when the imps were more permanent… when they’d stick around till they shot out 6 fireballs, so you’d almost always have a small army of imps followin you around? i miss that.

also demonic leap. it felt better than burning rush (which feels like the game is hating you for playing a 'lock)… also how metamorphosis made you feel empowered (yes, i know, dh have it now, but like… does’nt feel as impactful to me anymore… feels like avenging wrath).

aside from all that though, i like the way warlocks feel now (can’t tell you if they’re strong or not, but they feel fun-ish!).

More the power of the gently squeezed toad

Seriously I’m pretty sure that it is in the game still just so he can find bugs.

Pour one out for being able to summon people off of cliffs. So much fun back in the day to make people think twice before accepting a summons.

I can’t be expected to take OP seriously in their opinion of Warlocks when the difference between their/they’re is so easily tossed aside.

It’s sad because WoD Demonology warlocks were one of the best things done in this game. And gladiator warrior in WoD was also fun. Blizz removes the good stuff.
