Warlock Customization: More Grimoires! And other stuff

I just wanna turn my Felguard into a Fel Lord. Let’s make this happen Blizzard. Allow us to summon moar!

Eh. There are unnamed common Dreadlords but they’re still Dreadlords. It’s equality!

Shamans could use alternate forms for elemental, BFA has a really cool sand elemental, could be a alternate form for earth elemental.

Even shadow priest could get some love for Shadowfiend

Demons are a dime a dozen. Having a make walk up with a legged Ragnaros will turn heads

to be fair Mages can’t summon fire elementals, so maybe it’d be a better idea and more valid for Shaman to be able to change their Elemental CD model

Imagine a shaman summoning Lil’ Ragnaros

Warlocks have been fighting for demon “taming” for years, I wish you luck OP and do sincerely hope it happens someday.

The worst part is we keep juggling control. Last xpac we had perma doomguard and infernal. Now only one spec has infernal as a cd and nobody has doomguard. I have enslaved a pit lord for my green fire quest. This is all official things I have done. And suddenly I can’t. I really wish blizz would get their stuff straight.

Great idea but in theory didn’t most of the demons go away with Sargaras?

Thank

YOU’RE HOT THEN YOU’RE COLD YOU’RE YES THEN YOU’RE NO

Sargeras Willing uwu

Nope demons still exist, that is not how demons work lmao Sargeras being imprisoned doesn’t mean demons somehow cease to exist or cease to be able to be summoned

Demons existed before sarg. He originally rounded them up and stuffed them into a prison realm (mardum), but he eventually just subverted them to work in his burning crusade to end life before it was corrupted by the void lords.

Confirmed on Beta, I went to Shadowfang Keep and tamed one of these in that side stables area. Looks like Hunters get it before Warlocks…

what exactly are demons in the lore right now?

in the green fire questline a lot of them were supposed to police magic originally until sargeras repurposed them or something, but didn’t they change it in legion?

also at some point in the past, it was the eredar that corrupted sargeras, not the other way around, demon lore is wonky and prone to extreme retcons (another great retcon example being that there is only ONE legion that spans all timelines)

it wouldn’t surprise me if blizzard was like “nope, sargeras is imprisoned there are now no more demons.”

No those were Doomguards, specifically. Doomguards were a demon employed by the Titans before Sargeras went “evil”.

No longer canon, Chronicles and Legion dialogue confirm Dreadlords were the ones who told Sargeras of the Old Gods that drove him mad.

Not a retcon because we didn’t know how Timelines worked with regards to other Planes of Existence.

And yet here we are where that isn’t the case lol

They are still beings inherently born of the Twisting Nether or beings corrupted by Fel magic to the point of turning into Demons, aka beings of Chaos/Disorder.

BRUH WHAT

HUNTERS CAN TAME MULTIPLE SPECIES OF DEMONS INCLUDING OUR CLASS MOUNTS?!?!?!?!

THE HELL IS THIS?!?!?!?

NAH

Unless they are updating the mount, this is a way more STRONK version of the horse, using the latest BfA horse technologies. I named him Ujelly. lol

I’d love to have all my demons have the alien aesthetic of the fel hunter so I heartily endorse the op. Tons of good ideas.

OP needs more upvotes and this thread needs some more love!

AU where Warlock Felsteeds pixel models ar updated and we get a STRONK mount

This is my favorite part of the idea. Imagining zoning into LFG and you and another warlock have radically different demons for each slot, and you get to compare and contrast why and where you got them and what themes you were going for.

Thank :black_heart:

Wish more people cared about us lol

Yes please make Demon Stables, so my Demon Hunter can go there quickly slaughter them all.
