Hi warlocks, as you already know I’m not a warlock nor have I played one in my life. I need some help, how do I counter a destro warlock? Typically I destroy them, but theres a warlock whos 10 ilvls under me and the infinite amounts of cc they have absolutely wrecks me. I feel it’s a matchup I can win if I knew how to play it. When I try to open with a burst I get insta feared, into hard cc, in chaos bolt. Whenever I get close, they use thier portal and than as a void elf port back to thier original spot. What can I do that would really mess up thier combos besides kicking fears? I have alot of PvP experience, but locks are just a class I don’t understand. Edit: Normally I’d post on the monk side, but I personally feel that the players who know the best how to counter a class are the ones who play it.

Stun us, interrupt, and running all over the dang place usually works the best

Bubble Hearth
As a monk just dive in interupt chaos bolt and go ham we are locked out of casting for awhile since chaos bolt does chaos damage and silencing that makes it so. We can not cast anything for a few seconds. After wards just cc our demon if you can if you can’t ignore it if it’s a fel hunter and crush us. Btw succubus’s seduction shares a DI with the rest of our cc and we always use the same 3 talents demonskin, focused chaos and the conflagration one to root you.
