Warglaives of Azzinoth transmog restrictions

So now that legendaries have long since had their mog restrictions removed, why is it only Demon Hunter can transmog glaives? I’m not asking for all glaives, but I’d really like it if i could mog my trusty old Warglaives of Azzinoth on my rogue.

They are one-handed swords. Yes, I have the feat of strength from TW Black Temple. I got it on day one. It seems silly to me that we can transmog every other legendary in the game without restriction except for glaives.

Please, Blizzard?

I can’t even get the off hand glaive to drop since legion, I don’t believe it exists, and he only clearly had the one main hand glaive for me.

I believe in you.

This is one of the transmog-related things that is really irksome. I’d feel better about it if no class could use it rather than letting DHs use them when the classes that could actually equip them at the time cannot.

Though you have the fashion sense to wear them when logged out, you know you’ll get a lot of flak wearing them around in group content at your level. But…

Can druids use the legendary rogue daggers from MoP?

Warglaives as a weapon type being restricted to just DHs never really made much sense anyways from an RP and lore perspective, DHs didn’t invent Warglaives, ShadowHunter Trolls did, and then Elves adapted them from the Trolls when they came into existence and then the Elves who left the Sentinels, Spellbreakers, etc took their glaives with them to the Illidari.

Yeah. At least warriors, rogues and hunters should have had access to them.

If you mean fangs (not from mop), I doubt it since I know warriors definitely can’t 'mog Val’anyr.

DH don’t really have anything else. Let them keep their glaives, incluiding the warglaives. They can’t use the ragnaros hammer, they can’t use shadowmourne, they can’t use anything else but Thunderfury at most. Let them have something because they can’t cry, because the suffered eye removal or something

Anyone who had them before the change, should still be able to use the transmog. But after that point, you are out of luck.

What do you even mean by this? Also, I’ve had my glaives for over a decade. This rogue is almost old enough to vote.

If you had the glaives before they changed it to DH only, you get to keep the transmog as you earned it. But after that point it is DH only.

It made sense when you couldn’t mog other leggos and they were tired to a TW feat of strength

That’s dumb and not true.

What part of it is “not true”. You could once use it as a non DH and then they changed it to DH only. I mean exactly what part of that is not correct?

Not true. I’m wearing them right now.

You’re entirely wrong.

I was talking about the transmog, not the actual weapons. If you had unlocked it because you had them before they changed it to DH only, then I agree you should keep it. I assumed seeing the entire topic is about, that would have been clear.

And make it so everyone who can use a sword can equip them so that I can actually unlock the one that is sitting in my Hunter’s bank.

Your posts were poorly worded. The “change” was part of timewalking black temple. If you kill illidan when you already have both glaives you get a feat of strength that let you xmog the glaives on demon hunters. This made sense at the time because DH had very few items to mog. At the time you couldn’t transmog any other legendaries. That restriction has since been lifted yet I can’t transmog the glaives (which are 1h swords) on the rogue that got them over a decade ago.
