We’d like to welcome to all the RPers who’ve stopped by from the WoW Portal Room! We’re glad to have you join us, even if you’re just here to lurk. You can find events on the calendar, lots of resources and other players to answer questions. We’re currently approaching 1500 members, but don’t let the numbers fool you - we’re still a close knit community across several servers with shared interests and goals. Feel free to chat or just drop by for info when you need it.
And another announcement for everyone: we now have official WoW Ambassadors! Our members Celassa, Okwaho and SnekofVoldun (Vathiss) will be representing the RP community in the WoW Portal Room! They’ll be helping to give roleplay an online, official presence in a Blizzard forum. Why is this important? Because visibility will remind Blizz that RPers are active - that we’re not just a niche, and that our community is worth supporting. It may also help RPers get a voice in the community as well as to continue to recruit others who might be interested in roleplay but not know where to find it.
WoW RP is not isolated to a single server, and spaces like Discords can connect RPers from MG, WrA, ED and AD-EU for collaboration, shared ideas and support. We can grow stronger together across the entire community, revitalize areas that may have been lacking, and show Blizz that we care, we matter and that RP generates imaginative player-created content that enriches the rest of the game.
