šŸŽ„ Warcraft Movies and Machinima vs the "Content" of Today

Some of my favorite Machinimas:

Blind

Tales of the Past 3 (couldn’t find it in a single video without the Russian subtitles)

Tristan Pope’s Switcher series (the famous FROSTSHOCK video)

I think as WoW has evolved in its storytelling ability, it’s left less room for players to be creative with their own content. That, and popular mediums have moved from uploading videos to FileFront, WCM, YouTube, etc. to streaming.

Azerothian Super Villains, Oxhorn’s Inventring Swear Words and all the musicals he did, and Illegal Danish were really big. Beckman did a sequel series to Super Villains in 2012. Even a few of the Belf Rap creators had some good videos. RedEye Lobine did a great video using Pillar’s Frontline.

@op - Brother the moment I heard classic was being made; I started looking for song choices and thinking up ā€œstorylinesā€ for the pvp vids.

I could never play a private server just knowing that my sh*% could be erased at any moment, so this will be my first time back in old azeroth in so long… I’m ready to gank!

Illegal Danish anyone

Also, DROOOOOOOO!!!

Completely forgot about Azerothian Super Villains! I can’t hear Dust in the Wind anymore without seeing the Archimonde scene from WC3 in my head.

I still quote tales of the past to this very day, its even been the inspiration for a lot of my unpublished novels over the years lol.

I loved the grind. I still have watch their series each year. They tried to ā€œreviveā€ it but its not like how it was. Not even close.

Maybe not outright machinima, but it did have a few scenes of talking between gameplay vids. Roguecraft was always my favorite.

Is that the running of the gnomes? The running of the gnomes started on my server!

Oh here’s a few other good ones if people are curious

Also inventing swear words, it’s nice to see people like Oxhorn still around even if they aren’t doing wow stuff.

Azerothian Super Villains, is also amazing.
