Hey, just curious to know if there’s been any further info on the account-wide Reputation project? As a player who has switched Mains multiple times, my reps are scattered over probably 7 different characters, and I would desperately love for them to be consolidated sooner than later

Idk, if I would agree with them doing that. Though I guess that might be one of the plans for warbands eventually.
Would be weird to be exalted with opposing factions though. Bloodsail Buccaneers at exalted then bootybay or wtv exalted at the same time on one character is kinda idk.
They can work around that though, but still, idk.

I have thought about this and I think if they left “choice” factions alone but did the rest warbound it would be fine. one of my characters has both goblin and buccaneer rep simultaneously, it would upset me greatly if that were to be messed up due to something another character did.
then there’s scryers/ aldors. frenzyheart/ oracles. any factions like that where you can only be one or the other just do not make those warbound. this will also leave it so anyone who wants to grind both sides on a character (for patterns or whatever other reason) they can still do so without affecting any of the other characters.

Blizz would have to apologize to everyone who grinded these reps several times.
Why? Warbound reps is a relatively new feature added in DF. Most play multiple characters and have them at exalted or different levels of rep since day one. There doesn’t need to be any apology. It’s up to the individual player to grind more than one character or any rep to exalted.
They have dealt with this problem when the introduced the concept. In Dragonflight we have Winterpelt Furbolg reputation that is being handled individually by each toon
I hope this gets worked out, such a mess and pain to have rep spread all over several toons.
We are now over a full year with no additional older reputations being added to the Warbound list. And there is no hint of it in the patch notes for next week’s patch either. Can we please get some sort of timeline from Blizzard? It was suggested very strongly that at least the main factions from all old expansions would end up warbound eventually. I have been holding off doing some things as I want to do some of them with a character that was a non-played alt during some of those expansions.
They are not touching much of the old stuff for now as much of it gives Feats of Strengths to get exalted on both and they are ones that if you do get rep with one, it gives negative rep with the other so you legit have to farm twice as hard to get it. And if everything is set to account bound then some of those may get bugged out. If you got BloodSail rep and all that or got Scyer rep on one toon, Aldor on another, yea account wide reps for everything can really screw you up. May even make it forever impossible to get those reps.
