Not sure what caused it but my Warband Camps all randomly vanished after I completed a race change on my Level 70 Warlock, turning them into a Goblin. It was a trippy thing where the UI on the character select screen was all messed up and showing duplicates of my characters, as well as strange splotches that had a black circle and the words “11.0” in an empty box beside it.
The issue seems to have vanished finally after a repair and relog, and all of my characters are accounted for / not showing duplicates, though almost all of my Warband / Camp Selections including Favorites were deleted somehow and I had to manually create them again. I wanted to mention it here in case others had this issue or the issue appeared again. Very strange.

While researching this bug and trying to replicate what initially caused the above situation (mainly to see if I could fix it myself as GM Paholas said they cleared the Account Cache on your end), I discovered some interesting new info. I wanted to mention it here as ancillary information, along with the error logs and screenshots I sent in Ticket Number: US104648140. I hope that all of this information is helpful to Blizzard in discerning what exactly happened.
In my mind, since the race change of my 70 Warlock appeared to be what caused all of my Warband Camps to disappear; I suspected the issue might be related to that or perhaps one of the others I shifted around when buying some character services during the Spring Sale.
To test the theory, I deleted all of the Warbands that my recently altered characters were in. This was done so as to jettison them back to the regular character select screen as that was where / how the incident seemed to occur.
I also realized after moving several characters around on the character select screen that while many of the characters appeared duplicated when I moved their position on the character list selection screen, the game was selecting them ‘all’; as they were in fact a single character and not multiples. I also discovered that after shifting the characters around a few more times it managed to cause the empty boxes with black circles and 11.0 inside them disappear.
This has restored the normal appearance and functionality of my character list, and I see no duplicated or “phantom” characters, or the 11.0 boxes now. I will be leaving these characters out of camps for a few patches to see if the issue returns down the road, but after 3 log ins and system restarts they have not so I am hopeful that I may of corrected the error myself.
My best guess now as to the origins and nature of this bug, is that some character service did not fully complete due to the Warband Camps interfering with it on some level. My hope is that by leaving the characters outside of camp for a patch cycle, the system will self-correct, ‘lock in’ as it were; and so the matter will be completely resolved. I will update this post again if the issue returns or if I see it again in 11.7.
