What happens if a thing that has never happened does happen? Idk we’ll have to wait and not see because it won’t happen.
Let’s remember systems that weren’t present at BFA launch were added in. Just because TWW ships with no “systems like Legion” doesn’t mean it’ll stay that way, or that things won’t be added later in the WSS.
Hero talents will be the thing. That will be the thing everyone is upset about.
DF has already gotten rid of those cancerous systems. The only thing that could really use another look is the gear upgrade method. Too many currencies right now.
People play the game rather than come to the forums to complain.
That said, Midnight itself is controversial already, and setting up all sorts of conflicting expectations, so your premise has already fallen through.
The precedent was set with the necklace and azerite armor. It was an infinite grind system that they just kept tacking onto. No matter how much pzazz you put on a piece of poop, it’s still a piece of poop.
I just want a good story experience. I don’t know the extent of how good Metzen is really, but he is the beating heart of Warcraft.
Whatever he gives us, it won’t be Game of Thrones or Tolkein, it will be Warcraft, for better or worse.
It won’t likely be but part of their selling point for the expansion was a much better story telling expansion. They way they’re presenting it makes me think of SWTOR’s KoTET type storytelling for the campaign. Maybe they’ll get wild and crazy and pull a modern Warcraft storytelling campaign off well.
I really love the Starcraft 2 campaign so much I binge played through that and bought all expansion content. Basically as long as it lives up to that high quality type campaign it could be pretty awesome! Maybe they’ll need to phase players into single player layers/layers with friends to do parts of the story for a better experience obviously.
DR jammed a stick into the botters’ wheel spokes for a hot minute, but it didn’t take long for them to flange up a vigor-aware autopilot. (I don’t know bots all that well, but I do know autopilots.)
Maybe we got three-four bot-free weeks in there. Maybe we got less. But I always knew they’d be back.
It’s annoying, blizzard could easily remove the bots. The screwed up part is they really are not any form of real revenue. They are paying with tokens till they get banned. So basically all those accounts are a two month sub. banning them regularly would actually be more profitable for blizz, as they would get that initial $ again
I was talking more about corruption. I know the essences were tied to the neck.
They could’ve been way more creative with it, for sure. Complete visual overhauls for classes to match the hero theme would have been really exciting, even if the practical gameplay effects were mostly passive.
I was here for day 1 and everyone was mesmerized with it all it was amazing and a little frightening not knowing what was just around the bend. The wonder and felling of expiration were intoxicating. I remember the horror of stitches. Things now of day players will never understand unless you were at day 1.
It was still like that when I started in 2006. There wasn’t nearly as much information back then. We found things out by running face-first into them … or away from them, in the case of Stitches.
I kinda get why they changed it up with Stitches, though. Later on, towards the end of Wrath, he was hardly ever making it to Darkshire anymore. Bored high-level players would tent-stake him on the road somewhere, if he even MADE it to the road.
I mean, I know I went back more than once for some sweet, sweet payback. And I’m far from the only one who did.
So it was either change up the quest, or change the quest text.
“You fool! You may have doomed … hang on. Althea!”
“Yes, sir?”
“Status on that Abomination?”
“A couple of the King’s champions pounded it to goo.”
“Thank you, Althea … well, never mind, Adventurer. Carry on.”
This is another level of cope
It’ll have issues like every other expansion before it, and even new ones we didn’t even think of.
Sir, i am neither a multiboxxer nor a bot, and do not appreciate your assumptions that this was a unnanimous success, when it was not. There had been plenty of posts complaining of this so called “feature” through out this expansion and it being unlocked in the next one while OG flight is not.
What are you talking about? It’s already off to a TERRIBLE start.
A sub-race of dwarves as a new playable race how lazy can you get
yeah i dont want that but i do want cosmetic changes with cute passives/actives.
“Everybody loved Dragon riding because I said so.”
