War Mode is Great BUT

Please give us some kind of way to see where all the action is happening out in the world.

It would be really nice if we could use our maps to see where the “hot spots” are so we could join in on the fun. It would be even better to be able to see approximate sizes of battles going on.

This is a really good idea.

That’s exactly what /WorldDefense was for, and I miss it dearly.

Get notifications that Hellfire is blowing up, and hearth the heck home and head through the portal to try and get there and join the fray.

Please bring WorldDefense back…

I dont know if this is still in game, but I thought it flags someone on the map if they go on a killing spree

Yeah, that system is actually decent, but it would be great to see all the zones where assassins are active in (and not get sharded when going after them)

Completely agree with you, I would prolly do more wpvp if we could see the hotspots.

You just have to know it,pvp ers know it.

World Defense were local chat channels.

What OP is suggesting sounds more like you look at the world map and it pings spots where heavy PVP action is taking place.

That sounds like a cool idea, especially during CTAs

This is a really great idea

This kinda exists in four ways:
1- Horde/Alliance Assassins: basically when someone kills 10 people from the enemy faction they get a buff, but the enemy will see a crown-ish icon on the map to know where you are. People usually get this when there is a “battle” happening.

2- City invasion alert: When a person from the enemy faction is inside one of your cities, a message will appear in your chat. And usually people invade cities with at least a group of 5 lol

3- Assault WQs: Just go there with WM on. You will easily find a 10vs10 going on somewhere hehe

4- CTA groups: Just go on pvp group finder and type CTA. At least half of them are in the middle of a war between factions. Nazjatar CTA are the most chaotic/fun!

But yeah, I agree that if blizz added something that shows a place where a lot of players died in the last 5~10 minutes due to another player would be really nice.

Generally, I know where the pvp is happening because there’s a helmet symbol indicating there’s an assassin running around. I know Alliance only travel in packs, so them being alone with the label is extremely unlikely. :man_shrugging:
