Just join a crate farm raid.

I actually just got my rear end handed to me by some horde grouped up on a crate. Was actually fun.

It is a lot of fun when it works out that way. More often it is me sneaking up on 40 alliance characters lined up getting their government ration.

Just 40? Kidding. Your post did make me laugh though; if for no other reason than it’s true.

This makes sense. Thanks for sharing. Some clever intern at this startup indie dev game company should see what they can do about this. I don’t want to try to be the bot police during my game time although those suggestions are appreciated and I’ll consider it.

I do keep showing up for the odd battle. It is fun and sometimes even for me two or three of us take on twice our number and win. I think I have gotten maybe three crates out of maybe twenty I have gone for.

The image in my head that made me post was a burned in image of over and over a sad parade of massive numbers of alliance collecting what amounted to uncontested prizes in a majority of the scenes I encountered.

Golden Corall vibes or something like that.

What I’ve noticed is that typically alliance only hugely show up if it’s either a crate farm raid or in the zone where the shard quest is active. Outside of that, It’s usually only a handful of allies at the crate, but typically the horde just don’t show up even then, unless it’s a horde raid group. If more horde just actually went to the crates they would win a lot of the fights i think. I definitely believe most of the gathering bots are horde taking away active pvpers

I did a fly around yesterday on Elehan just looking on the shard I was on.

There was one Horde in passing. Maybe a bot? I did not find them to get close enough, but moving slow. Who knows?

I saw 5+ alliance across the various Midnight zones I looked.

I have no idea where the Horde are soemtimes, esp if it 50/50, which Blizz did say is the case and I did see an opposite faction. So there should have been at least 5+ Horde. There were not, at least none I could find.

I wonder if bots running delves in war mode count? Stuff like that. I don’t htink one would ever see those.

Yeah, idk, it’s weird.

I was considering /who in the zone in warmode on Horde. Check some of the druid names. It’s usually pretty easy id gatherers: ilvl <200, recent creation dates, just achieves re: gathering, etc.

But I don’t know how motivated I am. Can’t report from /who, gotta find 'em in game. And really, it kinda it is what it is.

The war mode faction imbalance is why I don’t really do much. I mean, sure maybe their numbers say it’s 50/50, but the in game experience certainly ain’t that.

It’s why I just do BGs now. I can mostly be guanteed the opposing side is mostly full.

I have no idea how Blizz would go abot fixing this. Captcha for war mode seems like a bad idea.

Anywho, I’ll look again today.

I’ve reported the same duo herbing/mining together NW of Silvermoon 24/7 many times. They’re still there months later every time I do my imbued mulch rotation. I can’t be the only one noticing their persistent existence, so with them as my baseline, I’m assuming bots are free to do as they please.

Have you ever gotten any feedback from your emails? Just curious. I know they won’t tell you if any action is ever taken but I’m curious to know if your efforts are actually acknowledged.
