It’s Sylvanas. If you interrupt her it’s either going to foil an evil scheme or turn out to be part of her Sousuke Aizen school of evil scenes. She doesn’t do much except brood and act out evil schemes. If she’s doing something, you know it will be an evil scheme, so it’s always in your interest to foil it.

We know enough to figure out what she is up to and this log is delivered to a Worgen captain who says it will be sent to Genn right away. So when we head there, he is already aware of the information. Make what you will of it but we had a pretty good reason to suspect her actions. I mean he has zero trouble finding her after all and left once he has destroyed the lantern, instead of furthering the engagement and trying to kill her.
good to know, I hope many people go back to the halls of reflection and try to stop Sylvanas from fighting Arthas. Because obviously her saving their butt is simply part of her evil scheme and should foiled.
That’s easy: magic.

Was that even the canon version of that? Jaina’s more involved thanks to Uther talking from the sword.
So I’m not allowed to fight for my freedom?
Grow up kid.
Jerry Nadler is that you?
Jaina Proudmoore is a pretty woman and within Warcraft, pretty women aren’t charged with crimes. Look at Sylvanas.
I thought that was because her mom was under the spell of the witch from The Little Mermaid.
Jaina doesn’t fall under Varian’s authority. He is the King of Stormwind, not the King of Humans
Jaina is a citizen of Kul Tiras and a Mage of the Kirin Tor.
The Sunreavers violated Dalaran’s neutrality by using the portals to stage operations against the Alliance, stealing a powerful artifact to turn into a weapon into the Alliance, and sabotaging a joint peacekeeping operation, leading to the death of the leader of the Kirin Tor, Rhonin, and many neutral Kirin Tor mages.
Jaina imprisoned any who did not leave, and only killed those who fought back.
The only reason Jaina didn’t drown Orgrimmar was because she was talked out of it. The Horde didn’t stop her doing squat.
Varian is the High King, ruler of the Alliance. If you do not follow orders of the leader of the Alliance why are you even part of the alliance? Yes, he had say over Jaina and every other member of the Alliance… That is how kings work.
Varian gave no such order, and the Sunreavers were expelled long before he was informed of the events in Dalaran.
Aside from this, Jaina is not a citizen of Stormwind, nor a subject of the Stormwind Crown. She is royalty of Theramore, and at the time was the appointed ruler of Dalaran and free to expell anyone from Her City as she desired. Varian has no legal right or ability to brand her a Traitor.
In addition. Jaina specifically said that the Sunreavers were to be expelled, and if they resisted arrested and held within the Violet Hold, not killed. Canonically only a few resisted, and of those only a couple resisted to the death, none of which were personally killed by Jaina.
It was confirmed via “Word of God” (Dev out of game information) that Jaina killing Sunreavers on the streets was a limitation of game mechanics and not canon.
Beyond this, you can touch my Lady Jaina over my cold dead body you mangy feral dog.
Varian didn’t have command over Jaina though, not anymore than he could order Tyrande or Moira to do whatever he pleased.
He can ask her to do things, but he cannot command her. Especially not when she’s the leader of the Kirin Tor.
Don’t we all fall under that? lol
Yep, but it only counts when you burn a tree apparently.
The difference is she was removed from horde and now hunted. That a huge difference as alliance keep theirs and horde lose anther.
We don’t even apologize. Alliance can’t help tripping over themselves to forgive us though.
Well now that they have you, who could stay mad at something so cute!
Well, Sylvanas burnt down a world tree, killing thousands of innocents and the Horde just got over it and followed her like brainless morons.
If we didn’t do that, who knows how many Horde would have died at the hands of the Night elves. I hate to keep bringing up the hiroshima and nagasaki example, but there are definitely some similarities. War is nasty, and determining who is right just depends on which side you are on.
