The inherent derpyness of being a pandaren monk is exactly what drew me in.
I am not the proud human mage, the fearless orc warrior or the sinister undead warlock
I’m the fat guy with a stick run around, tasting good food and good brew and living by the Stormstout philosophy that “If we explore Pandaria too quickly, we will quickly run out of Pandaria to explore”
It is not for everybody, but I’m so glad it is there because the game it full of these epic races and classes and lore twists… to the point it is not really epic, but just sad and silly
It feels relaxing to be intentionally silly. I just can’t play any other way thesedays. Except for gnomes, of course… Because they can be even derpier.

That is true, but as a fantasy game about killing dragons and the opposing faction Lovey dovey cuddly Pandas do not fit!
They do look cool compared to overweight obese Funny bone eating Pandas. Why can’t there be healthy Pandas?
Yeah that’s why kids don’t play Pandas…or so I think.
Only adults who don’t take this game seriously play it…well since it’s just a game.

The starting area is awesome. Too bad that once you leave, you can never go back there. I wish Blizzard would fix this.

Nah, Pandas are for people that don’t take the game, or themselves, too seriously. It’s kids that want to be “cool”, and wrap their own self esteem up in their characters.

Me and that race connected on so many levels.
Kul Tirans are even bigger, and unlike Pandaren, weighing a lot isn’t natural for their species. Also, obesity is no good. I struggle with it myself.
Being a panda is great. You can smack talk opposite faction pandas in /say.

Never really thought Pandaren looked derpy, personally; barring a couple animations. Then again my view might be skewed as I pretty much exclusively play female characters in WoW and half the time I see other Pandaren they’re also female.
So…play a girl, I guess; unless you find Pandaren universally derpy, then I don’t really know what to say. Frankly I’m more into them for their lore than aesthetics anyway.
