Yeah.
A convention of quasi-Goths, suffering from terminal boredom, standing around posing for the camera and waiting for anything to happen EXCEPT a walkup from a stranger.(In spite of the “walkups welcome” comment in their bio).
Or two people going “nudge nudge” and “wink wink” to each other. Or someone dropping a cutting remark and walking off after you attempt to start a conversation, as though you drooled on your shoes when you spoke.
I have had 3 or 4 decent IC conversations in the last 2 months. Mostly, I just play like on any regular server. I actually have more conversations on a regular server with other players, just not IC, than I do here.
And why the hell would someone want to play an impersonal character that never speaks, on a server dedicated to role-playing? You can go anywhere on any server and then stand around and do nothing but listen to trade chat. Sheesh.
Sorry, the more I type the more my disappointment comes to the surface.
It has never been my luck to run into anyone like the last two posters, the drunk-at-the-bar or the plastic-mallet persons.
