FF14 player has jokes
Let’s see in FF14 a player needs a separate sub to do the f2p trial that’s separate from the main game. In WoW those two accounts are one in the same. So when it comes time to tally the count FF14 can count two people as with both games people mess with the trial during down time. This makes it look like there are more people than there actually are in game.
In addition you cant play your way in FF14 dps are lazy afk and babied while tanks and healers are chewed out for not carrying all the dps. In WoW we have dps meters so there are no free rides.
FF14 has a snooty toxicity those that get a high from their own air. A person can give a suggestion or criticize wow and everything is fine the community is actually rather rational. In FF14 it’s the opposite heaven forbid you give a bit of criticism over there because the white knights are rampant. If you don’t see FF14 as a perfect symbol on a hill they go after you.
WoW is fine it doesn’t need cheap tricks and fanatics at its gates. Even with Covd it got the fastest selling this year for awhile. This matters in this context because MMOs are persistent meaning FF14 would have gotten a CovD bump as well yet look where we are today.
