That’s why I wanded and why many healers wanded or otherwise weaved spells they could afford. I don’t know what point you’re after, but you’re more than welcome to share it.
So they still want healers to do damage sometimes, they just increased the time healers spent healing. Hence “keeping an eye on healer damage.”
Thank you for proving my point.
Nobody in this thread debated healers having to heal lol. You are the one in multiple of these threads arguing that healers shouldn’t “have to” DPS.
Meanwhile, “using actual sources” as you said:
Oh look at that! They buffed healer damage. Because they are keeping an eye on it, which was the quote you mentioned. I’m glad we worked together to prove my point. Amazing what teamwork does, huh?
Classic strawman when you’re losing an argument, 'cause nobody said they were exactly the same.
Anyway, yes, healers weave in wanding/damage spells on Classic. It was definitely not as common, I agree - but it happened. Just because you didn’t see it… doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.
Not the flex you were hoping it would be. It’s wild that, between all those characters and in all that time you’ve spent healing in WoW, you have yet to grasp why healers have started contributing to dungeons with damage keys. I picked that up in a fraction of the healers and time.
Proof positive that doing something a long time does not necessarily mean you are great at it. Sorry to your groups I guess.
