Two reasons.

1. They want everyone to have a chance to level up and get heroic dungeon gear so that everyone goes into the first raid on even footing. Otherwise the complaining would be legendary.

2. We are getting Earthen today. Those also need time to level and gear.

Two weeks of gating before the raid and m+ season 1 is stupid

Two weeks till normal/heroic and m zero

Three weeks for mythic raid and mythic plus.

It really is a bummer. I think maybe they wanted people to be spamming delves. Maybe?

It’s incredible how lame delves are. They are worse than Torghast, maybe slightly better than islands.
