Wailing Arrow is an extremely thematic ability. It looks cool, sounds cool, and is powerful.
Please implement Wailing Arrow into the Dark Ranger tree instead of removing it completely.

I realize I’m just speaking for myself and I’m just 1 person, but to me, it feels like someone specifically tried to remove everything I enjoy about my MM Hunter with the new patch.
No pet. Huge loss of functionality with this one.
No Barrage. Loved that spell.
No Wailing Arrow. New attack that I was really digging in this expansion. I even make a cool banshee sound effect to use with a weak aura for tracking this proc.
That’s 3 strikes.
But hey! The rotation is better or something.

I wrote an in depth post explaining why removing Wailing Arrow and Wind Arrows is a massive mistake, among other things. I’m here to support yours as well. We need more people pushing back on this if we want the echo chamber at Blizz to reverse their decisions.
Like someone else said, it really feels like they did this specifically to make Dark Ranger fans upset… If you guys get a chance, please go and support my post as well so we can maybe make a diff.

Release build is ready for patch, you won’t see it. All they’re doing now is fine tuning and bug fixes
Thanks depressing… already kind of put off by the lack of strong theming with Dark Ranger. DR is what got me to main Hunter. Now it will be reduced further…
Dark ranger is doa next patch for both specs, losing withering fire auto shots kills them
Feels like they are trying to force us to take Sentinel spec.
This was a deeply unpleasant surprise to log into yesterday; I knew MM was getting reworked but I hadn’t caught that Wailing Arrow was being removed. Please give it back, it was core to the Dark Ranger fantasy.
