Somebody made a political thread last night, which went over about as well as you’d expect.
As we often do, me and Bread posted a bunch of silly gifs in there to mess around until it got 404’d. Bread got hit with a ban for it.

Aww man that is rough. Sorry to hear that. Why would Bread get hit? He didn’t make the thread. That doesn’t make any sense.
Which mean he lost his Trust level 3. Which means he cannot post Gif’s anymore. I can see why he would be upset.
He didn’t make the thread. No idea why he specifically got hit, though moderation around here can be super inconsistent.
and yeah, the loss of TL3 is the main thing. I don’t think the actual ban is all that long.
The ability to post gifs really shouldn’t be on such high requirements in the first place in my opinion.
Did Bread post a Gif that was political?
Not as far as I remember. I think the actual ban was for ‘being disruptive’.
Oh that stinks. That doesn’t sound very fair to be honest. I guess that is why people are not talking very much ingame or on the forums and talking on Discord instead. The chat restrictions are kinda too tight to be honest.
Yeah I’m not sure about in-game but if the moderation is as inconsistent as it is on the forums all it really takes is one mod just not liking whatever you posted and then you’re hit with a ban for no good reason.
Yeah. Even if it doesn’t break any forum rules. Which is dumb.
Well, I can see why. Being disruptive is like talking over someone and in general just being, loud. Which is also like disrupting the peace or derailing a topic. So, to put it this way, there was a lot of reason for that. Regardless, It’s not a good idea to try and do so when there’s a discussion going on that doesn’t concern any other party that’s not involved in said discussion.
I mean, there’s never much of a discussion happening in the threads we do that in. They’re threads about politics that devolve into mud slinging as people scream at each other over the internet.
Plus Bread isn’t the only person who does that, and as far as I know he’s the only one who got hit with a ban.
hapened to us all at one point or another this place is not fare and not consistent ever
and the actual offenders always seem to run wild
I’m not sympathetic, he must’ve did something to deserve that.
I get the sense the mods don’t hang out here a lot so they never figure out which regulars are the real disturbers.
I’m pretty sure an actual person looks at it before a ban happens, but I also wouldn’t be surprised if every step before that is heavily reliant on automation which could help to explain a lot of the inconsistencies.
I don’t think anybody would expect you to be lol
I feel like they only reason the post that gets flagged and not the others that give context.
Which is why a certain T character was able to get away with it so long, since out of context, he seemed sincere.
Go ahead, laugh. It’s not like I want to be friends with bullies who aren’t going to try with me anyway because no one knows how to be a mature adult. Mistreat anyone who isn’t them.
They say they don’t use AI I just don’t believe them. They have to be using some form of AI program. The inconsistency just doesn’t make sense.
If nothing else I’m 99% certain they used AI in their Warcraft 1 & 2 Remasters and I believe they also openly admitted they upscaled some stuff using AI in Cata Classic as an optional thing.
So it seems like they’re open to using it in the first place. Wouldn’t surprise me at all to learn they pushed it in their CS departments too.
Given the source their opinion doesn’t count for much and on the topic at hand most of us were in that thread last night and just having fun anyway.
Also about your previous comments about did he post anything he shouldn’t have the answer is no, he was mainly posting Spongebob after that Void Elf asked him to.
If Bread didn’t break any forum rules then it doesn’t make any logical sense to punish him.
I agree, it was weird the thread got closed, then deleted and then he got hit with breaking the rules because the thread was already deleted by the time that happened.
